how do i know if cervix is effacing n dilation is in progress? been seeing mucus but no blood attached to it.. thinkin of askin for a VE @ d weekend to check if all is favourable for an induction or wot do u mamas think?

Have been having itches around my vjay area Nd really itchy Nd with some little pain around it wen I itch.av only used Vaseline on it,though had it last month Nd it disappeared Nd nw its back.the itch can be painful too.pls sabi mamas in the house wat can I uses for it.there is not discharge Nd no smell.thanks

hmmmmm i'm here to tell you my wife's birth story.

shes not the techy type, so most time whenever i'm back from work i jump in here to read some clues,birth stories and experienced shared on this forum, have been following this topic since she took in.

before i continue, hope i wasn't intruding ooOOO?...i'm just trying to be a caring DH grin grin grin

ok, labour started on Wednesday 18-05-2016 after some kpekus oiling cool cool cool tongue tongue thought it was the normal stomach ache after the kpekusin.

i just massage her waist line and told her she should relax, meanwhile baby is still at 37weeks and some few days.. she woke me up @ about 1 am when contraction was much. i took her to general hospital. cause that was were she did her antenatal.

Doc said she was 2cm-3cm and asked us to come back the following morning, but that she should continue with her exercise. as at Thursday night she was still at 5cm. cervix was still close, i was worried, all the nurses and Doc were rude...i left her around 2 am friday morning with mother inlaw to rest cause have been up for 36hrs without sleep.

5;45am mother inlaw called to inform me no one as attended to her yet and she was still in pain, i was very angry, prepared for work and went to the hospital straight.

see i dun tire to talk, God took control and she gave birth to a beautiful princess, i was told CS was another option, but God took control

i will continue later.. meanwhile catch a glimpse of my beautiful creature.

You can know that through Vaginal examination. So feel free to submit for it. When did you take your last scan? What was baby's presentation? Have you trekked enough? Eaten pineapples? Kpekpus with DH?
Mamas based in PH will give suggestions on the help thing.

Britneystacy, You are right, footless Sleepsuits are not easy to come by. So far, I've only been able to get one in 3-6 months...like mama ozycy said, you get more use out of them than the normal ones, just keep trying. In response to your post about the brands you saw, try not to buy George, the trick I've discovered is to ask them for single ones (especially for Sleepsuits) instead of the prepacked 3-in-1 types, they are always of better quality.

Can't remember who but a mama said something about dressing for the cold weather, what I did was to buy sleeveless bodysuits to wear under the normal clothes.

Yes o Amhappy finally they gave us,am thinking of that induction cos of the weight and CS history but the Dr said he can't induce if the head has not engaged so now I don't know what will be the best elective CS,induction(with emergency CS if the induction fails) or waiting for labour(with the weight increasing),left for me I want elective CS but hubby will not hear of it as many prophets and his siblings have told him how they saw me in dream and vision deliver vaginally #smh

What Doctor has said about not inducing if baby'shead has not engaged is very much in order...it is to reduce chances of a failed induction that will need an emergency CS. Your wanting elective CS too isn't bad. What AM NOT COMFORTABLE WITH is those your 'prophet and prophetess' who are trying to spoil your husband 's mind about being willing to accept a CS if it will be the safest and wisest option for you and your baby! God is not against CS ooo....CS is not a sentence from the Devil ooo....your prophets should stop joining God in their confusion ooo...CS is a life saving procedure! ! Try and disabuse your DH mind from them ooo...so that he will be willing to sign your forms for us if that will be the best option for you please!

It is this same 'by force vaginal delivery vision' that was seen for my neighbour oo and she abandoned the hospital when she was told CS because baby was breech and her b.p was high and ran to church. When the church battled and saw she was dying, na still hospital they rushed her to and she died on her way back!

Ok, tnx dear. scan was 2wks ago & cephalic. I dey trek well & climb stairs sef, pineapples na daily thing,I join mango sef yesterday & eating pineapples as am typing this.. DH dey fear kpekus since i enter 8mnths o..says my belly is huge, na beg we use kpekus last wk & na gentleman tinz him dey do wen I dey tel am say no b wetin I need now but him no hear & av been tryin to seduce him since den bt d guy no wan budge.

Is anybody due late July or early August and experiencing Pelvic pains? Infact turning over in bed is difficult for me.
What could be responsible for this and how can I manage it? Anybody?

Eya aa a..maybe you need to Google it for me to read with his eyes too o ,wether that will convince him that you need it ooo. ..sperm contains contraction triggers oo. All the best...
