I studied CHE and would have loved to but this their uni-assist and close deadline are the obstacles. I applied for Energy Science and Tech where they insisted on IELTS according to their site. I applied without it since it's allowed to be provided before enrollment.

While writing to them, inform them your studies from nursery were in English. Good luck!

1. I am confused between two ways of booking a student visa appointment. Some people said to use the slip that you are given when you open the blocked account to book an appointment then transfer the money much later. Others say pay into the account before you book with the confirmation from the bank...which is advisable?

2. The recent hand written SOP on the checklist what is the focus? Most SOP I know 'll explain what they want you to tell them...who has successfully written one and gotten a visa? Are we explaining why they should give us a visa? Or why we want to study that course? Or what we hope to achieve by studying that course...how long/how many words?

3. I am aware that the pdf acceptance letter print out 'll do for the opening of a blocked account...but who knows if it ll be acceptable if the signature isnt complete due to screen boundaries? I need answer on this ASAP

4. For insurance, I understand it is for 3months...the subsequent months have to be done by mavista? Or you can buy from a nigerian insurance company for two years? Please advice...all I have seen is the 3months insurance no mention of the health insurance during study (2years) or it isn't needed?

5. For the forms (blocked account) by "filled forms?" does it mean you have to fill in ink or fill one in ink then make copies? Then i hope black and white print out is acceptable? There was no specification on this ...gurus in the house please respond

6. The Depositors form that goes with the form. How 'll one go about it if the sponsor will transfer directly from a foreign country? Scan the signed document - extremely clueless about this...nobody talks about this particular form.

7. For tickets which is advisable one way or round trip?

Which one is better to use; a blocked account with deposits or a guarantor letter from Germany? Lastly, what's the thing about form A, and months delay in getting it? I have pound sterling dom account that has been dormant for long, will have a need to reactivate it?

Hi, please do browse through all the content of daad.
There are numerous courses applications that will end by July 15 for winter semester, Which means you have 6 weeks to process all.

I applied for the MA English and American Studies programmes at Paderborn, Freiburg, Jena, Tubingen and Bamberg. I have got the admission letters from Paderborn and Bamberg and I am fairly certain I'll get into the other schools as I have received notice of admission processing. Start your visa processing with either of the admission letters. Spaces for interviews are being taken up as fast as the speed of light.
For the school of choice, let all the admission letter come and you can make the best choice but that shouldn't stop you from starting your visa processing with the ones you have at hand.

Your visa and application document will be return to you via Dhl.You dont need to go to the embassy to pick the visa up anymore.

Anyway, you can only withdrae approximately 680 euro monthly.
In my opinion, block account is the best option.sponsorship letter entails alot.
As per form A, averagely it takes 3weeks to process. Stanbic and Ecobank is better in that aspect presently.You dont need a domicilliary account for the transaction.

Had to help u figure out your dilemma. For that skul, on uniassist portal you won't see that course, so rather select just the school, "Ingolstadt, Technische Hochschule" I think their VPD is general and not subject specific so something like "Alle Fächer" would appear under the course title. Just submit and print your app and forward to Geneststraße via post. All the best mahn.

1) You dont need to pay into the account before you book for you appoimtment.

2)Sop is Sop.it encompases all you have listed above.Purpose of your journey and why you are a genuine student applying for study purpose only.

3)There is a contact on the admission letter, if the authencity of the letter is in doubt they will contact the school.Infact some school admission letter is computer generated, hence no signature.So dont worry about it.

4) You need another insurance when you start enrolment here.Your insurance from home country is not accepted in schools here.In my opinion AOK is better.
5)The colour of the pen does not matter.just fill it legibly.You can fill the form online,with pen and any colour.

6) You can transfer the money from anywhere.its samething.Open the account,get account details and forward it to whoever is funding the account.Leave the rest to the bank.

7)The choice is yours. But one way is allowed for student.

So it means my address should be on the paid courier evelope

I applied for a study visa at German embassy and I was denied the first time. I applied the second time and my passport was seized and sent to the Nigeria immigration service and reason been that my passport has fake stamp for some countries on it. I transferred 8075 euros to Deutsche bank last year for my student blocked account and I want to process a refund but I cannot get the passport at the Nigeria Immigration services where the embassy claimed it was sent to and without my passport I cannot process a refund at the German embassy. Can anyone be of help or advise on what to do. Positive response only please. Thanks.

PS: The stamps on the passport where indeed fake, please your candid advice will be deeply appreciated on this issue

I'll hate to be the guy that asks if you've read the thread. So I'll chip in on the questions I saw.

5. Fill on pc(Its now clearly written on the form) and print two sets(or print one in black n white and photocopy the second set so they'll look alike, all depends on how much rubs u have in your wallet)

6. Just sign that page. I made two trips to the consulate cos of this cos Daniella Ruff claimed I didn't sign mine.
