So Yorubas hate everyone and your people still rush to there land daily. Ibos and lies are like this-

Sorry I never told you guys that I'm Igbo.
I repeat, I'm a Nigerian related to 5 tribes Including Yoruba.
My grandparents are from different tribes and I'm married to a different tribe.
Yorubas do not troop to ND but have Oil blocks there right?
We troop to Lagos and not other Yoruba land because Our Oil money was used to develop the State as the then Federal Capital and the coys that have these blocks have their offices in Lagos so it's our right to move with the coys that move our oil.
You guys claim you hate no one but your posts on several topics states otherwise.
Well i assume the posts i see with Yoruba Monikers are from some Fulani Herdsmen so, Apologies then...

what sensible thing have you said ever since other than twisting facts also. You are very quick to say you are advising the Niger Deltaans on how to behave well but why then did you not advice your Northern allays to choose education other than running after any thing Buhari will say.Go tell the Northern youths to be educated and stop wasting away our precious money looking for oil in the North.Go advice the Northerns to be sensible and not me because it is obvious you will never tell the truth just like your brothers here. That is misplace priority advice the Northerns to choose education as the best tool for a child.Thanks.

I so sorry for the Niger Delta people. When they finally get their dreams come true, the whole land would have been so damaged that reconstructing it back would take years and no company would want to invest there then their eyes go open.

Do you think the Federal Government or the oil companies are the problem of the area? NO ...it is the people themselves. The people are the ones governing themselves.

Sad really. Ukraine was in their shoes before the left the Soviet Union back then but they did not take to destroying Russia's assets left in there. Today they make money from royalties and taxes on the Russian pipelines passing through their land. Niger Delta ought to protect those assets now or else in the future, the Western World would price them low and cheat them .....that is if they would be interested in investing in a region they were forcefully driven away from undecided ...so long peeps!

There you go again, from your argument Thailand as a country has no dependence on petroleum, whats her source of energy. I have told you to look at the big picture you still find it hard to see things with with larger screen. I Repeat GLOBAL GDP and oil are highly and positively correlated.
As regards Lagos are you implying there is no drop in her accrued revenues?
There is a reason it is called blackgold, insofar as we have no other relaible source of energy, all economies will directly or indirectly be dependent on oil. Please never make your myopic assertions in the gathering of the learned.

I recall a little child whom when you give him some money to say buy biscuits he will use it all for biscuits, give him 10000 naira and he will use it all up for biscuits.
Think very hard at the relationships sorry if I am not doing a good job lecturing you on this.
You are the one that does not have understanding, the fact that oil is source of energy for a country does not mean their economy is tied to oil, pls understand this. Are you saying with global gdp argument that oil determines the wealth of countries. Is Japan economy buoyant cos of oil? Is Thailand a rich country cos of oil? Is China the 2nd largest economy in the world cos of oil? Is US what it is cos of oil? Lagos have no complaints with the oil slump as this year they made over 100 billion naira in IGR in four months which was unbelievable. Like I said earlier you have been told everything comes from oil.

Ok

What is a sovereign state?

- In international law, a sovereign state is a nonphysical juridical entity that is represented by one centralized government that has sovereignty over a geographic area.

-International law defines sovereign states as having a permanent population, defined territory, one government, and the capacity to enter into relations with other sovereign states.

-It is also normally understood that a sovereign state is neither dependent on nor subjected to any other power or state.

Issues:

- They want to install their people and control our natural resources. E.g Jonathan would be their Prime Minister or President
- MNC's would be paying them taxes and royalties, there would be lots of cash available to them.
- They would still not be richer. Their predicaments would not improve. Even pollution would increase thereby degrading their natural sources of livelihood.
- Issues of legitimacy would arise and the Western powers would do the needful.
- Nigeria and its Army would deal with them accordingly in line with global practise.
- Rise in militancy is expected in the region various groups would emerge for example Bini's, Efik, Esan, Ibibio, Igbo, Annang, Oron, Ijaw, Itsekiri, Yoruba, Isoko, Urhobo, Ukwuani, Kalabari and Ogoni would join the fray.
- Economically, our Naira would still be a unifying currency for Nigeria and the so called sovereign state.
- My brothers from the South East would be divided along the lines of joining or remaining in one Nigeria

Global
GDP again!!! I will not repeat myself bro. If japan desires some form of growth, a look at her figures will require increased energy demand, the fact she doesn't produce the commodity will put her in some form of trade to either get the raw commodity or the refined products, in that wayher growth is still tied to the commodity indirectly. That's why I have taken time to point out that directly or indirectly all economies in the world are tied to crude.

The SE and SS declared public hatred for PMB during the elections campaign last year, PMB is human like everyone of us, if any group display openly their hatred for you, it will take you time to get over it easily. The SE and SS also added insult to injury by telling PMB and the whole world openly that they had no regrets supporting Jona.

The SE and SS lack political tact, the northerners who supported Jonathan all through lay low after the elections and started reaching out diplomatically to PMB, even the northerners in PDP presently are always tactful when dealing with PMB. Politics is a game and it could go either way. When its not in your side, you act diplomatically and build bridges. Our brothers across the Niger must learn and respect others even when they do not agree politically. PMB will complete his tenure and when another election time comes, every region will have their opportunity again to show their political prowess. We should stop being cry babies.

Its the duty of the head to carry subordinates along.

Renewable energies are not and will not be a substitue for crude oil in the short term. As someone who has an extensive background in several fields, mechanical/aerospace/renewables/petroleum engineering, crude will remain relevant up to the 2050's and if not beyond.
A lot is being done in the renewables especially the offshore wind farms being developed in Europe (for which I and my team were to come up with standards for their structural integrity, before I made a marked chance in my career ) all the same oil is here to stay reason why despite the low oil prices big oil and gas companies are still trying to strategically increase reserves either by mergers, acquisitions or the cheaper option of exploration.

If you held the view that oil was everything please still stick to it.
The oil is not the problem, the mindset of the leaderships of most of these countries are. I see no reason why the Emiratis or Qataris or Australians or Canadians will say their mineral resources are a curse.

I am happy that ppl are supporting the NDA openly especially ppl from the east. Everything is glaring on the internet both here on NL and Facebook. But by the time the Nigeria govt responds, the story will change and it will be crying to international bodies. It's the same way they urged Nnamdi kanu on until he got into trouble.

Like Dimiya said, one part of the country cannot hold everybody to ransom. NDA can bomb the whole niger delta if they like but they should remember that the senators, commissioners, governors, ministers and the president will continue to enjoy govt money. If it gets worse, they fly out the country and everything will be grounded. Definitely someone is sponsoring this NDA guys and by the time they are caught, they'll be seriously dealt with.

You are not taking no oil. Nigerdelta is in Nigeria and the oil belongs to Nigeria. You want money? Go get educated and work hard. No free money for you because you have oil on your land. The Govt have been patient enough, they need to strike and teach these 'our oyel' shouting monkeys some sense.
