wait oh, when was the last time you visited d orphanage....instead Nigerians keep donating money to schools in other countries more richer than them....

come to Imsu n u see 3000 students taking general mat 101 in a hall that should not contain more that 100 students.

well ' if BUHARI can travel to other countries and miss Lagos visitation, tell me y other people will not donate money to other countries.

You donated 900k to USA university but you were not able to say how much you have donated to so called Nigerian universities?

9 of his wards earned 9 B.sc, 5 M.sc and 2 Phd.

If you look do a rough estimate of how much he has paid in tuition, we are looking at over $3m.

A small 900k thank you for training my wards check doesn't sound out of place.

Do any one tell shell or mobile or total bosses how to spend there money??
If Niger Deltans are looking for who to blame the should ask there governors, past NDDC chairmen what they did with there money
I don't even blame them, I blame our past leaders, if our taxing system us working well it will give us 5x what oil is giving us now
We have over a million commercial buses in Nigeria and each pay an average of #500 per day, were is all this money going? ?
Market women pay alot of duty every day, were are this money going? ?
We need to block the leakages in our taxing system, implement luxury tax and religious centers must be taxed at least 40%
How can u have a GDP of $500bn and can't tax out $70bn?? something is wrong

Someone is paying for the good grades that will be awarded to his yet-to-be-admitted children, grand children n great grand children plus appreciating the uni for the unmerited degrees they have given to his family..... Thats d only justification for this grant..... Its not too reasonable donating $900k to an american universty when there are millions that cant even afford to pay 1000 naira tuition in ur backyard..... CHARITY THEY SAY BEGINS AT HOME

What difference does it make?
In your own country, over 70% of the people are destitutes or have been rendered destitute.
You can excuse donations to stuffs like cancer research or like Mo ibrahim's anti corruption initiative.
But this one?
Oti O.
Now, I want anybody to go and research the
Primary, secondary or university school attended by most of the wealthy Nigerians.
I want you to go to their hometown.
I want you to visit the streets they have their primary residences.
Your guess is as good as mine. Decayed schools, open sewers, rundown unpaved Streets are what you will see.

What do you think large universities use those donations to do if not to further subsidise research programs.

I can't blame the man if his family has had so much history with 9 degrees, 5 masters and 1 doctorate from same university of he gives them 900k I have no issues.

It's his money, he has done well to donate to other good causes in Nigeria as he sees fit in the past and would continue to so abeg make una go Pam..

What can be said of a bearded militant who gained wealth on the pains and suffering of his people and went ahead to establish a university in a neighbouring country.

That's still alot of money by any standard.
But this man sef, how can you give such amount to a developed country's university while a developing country like yours has underfunded institutions with no basic amenities.

People's priorities mehn.
Why would the militants be bombing, when their oil blocks were sold to people like this who are not investing in their community.

Why would any sane individual give 900k to a Nigerian university knowing full well that 850k of it would be appropriated fraudulently by senior executive officers of the ubiveristy. When you know the chancellor and registrar would suddenly develop an appetite for a new house

You are not being truthful! The US knows you and yours history of money laundry in the face of mostly disadvantaged masses. The next best thing is to 'donate' money to a venture that can obviously do without your charity? When last did you buy tomatoes undecided By the way, I'm an Imolite. Mbaise, precisely wink
