Multichoice Cable television (DSTV) removed popular transgender reality television programme, “I am Cait’’ form E Entertainment channel following complaints by Nigerians. This was contained in a statement issued on Tuesday by the company.
Angry South Africans took to Twitter to express their anger as the suspension also affected them. Responses continue below.

We dictate the rules because of the revenues accrued from Nigeria. If only they know how high dstv bills are here compared to theirs, so they should just keep shut.

I do not support transgenders in way but we should stop interference or tempering with people ways of life. we are hypocrite's. people should have freedom to ways of life both in religion and association. not that we are anyway better or pure.

now we have Islamic ruling expect more bans. if you don't like them or the program. stay away.
