The so called traditional rulers are the real problems in our society. You can imagine a situation were a traditional ruler is a politician at same time. The selection process and eventual emergence of traditional rulers in most cases is highly political. There is no way they will not play the bidding of their benefactors.
It is the traditional rulers who, thru their actions and inactions, have desecrated their traditional alters and not the military as the OP try to posit.
