Bros, just fill the application form separately and put them in one folder that you will be submitting, those VFS staff will help you with how to arrange them, just make sure you go with the proper forms. (thats what I told my family members to do and they all got the same positive outcome in less than 62 days

Thanks Justwise, i have already filled that form. My issue is unlike UK and USA applications, Canada does not allow family applications for a visiting visa. my real fear is that i would want our visa decision outcome to be the same that's why i don't want to apply separately via the online route.

I will probably take your advice and apply via paper route.

Good evening all, I finally got an invitation to do my biometrics after about 5 weeks post online application and was wondering if there is anyone with a similar experience and an idea how long it will take for them to request for the passport.

Last Friday made it 68th day but got the PPR mail today. So, it can happen anytime within that average processing date, it can be over nd can be less. I've seen 7 days after application before and I've seen 5 months. It's not from biometrics date but from the date ur application was recieved. I remembered submitting the application online on a Friday and it was received on Saturday. It's all God's Grace.

I have not heard any information from them yet although I mailed the CIC Ghana last Friday.
Maybe they considered my application not urgent, my travel date in still in August 2016.

Thanks...but as I have said severally, I am not particularly anxious about their response.
I have been to CA twice before and I have a trip to Turkey and the US with my wife in August with tickets purchased in Nov 2015.
So God giving us life, I still have a vacation in August irrespective of their response .

I did my biometrics on the 20th of April and got an sms from vfs on the 26th of May that my processed passport is ready. I was surprised because it's just 36days. I was Denied for two reason.Travel history and travel purpose.
I have been to all this countries twice each.Uk, France, Italy, Netherland and SA . Guess maybe cos this my first time of applying to CA.

I did my biometric capturing on the 21st of April, haven't heard back from them. Still hopeful!

Please can someone who was denied canada student visa after 1 year, apply for 6 month visa, reason for visit is for conference. Does anyone with same situation now or in the past share their experience with me.

exactly. If u invitation state that she's staying with you or not and Cos it was not stated on her visa doesn't mean it's not on the system. Info on Visiting visa s always same

I disagree with that. What is on system is what is on her passport. I believe her travel history and work experience worked for her. She has been to Canada twice in the past. It's a gud plus... though, her work permit might not go beyond mine... if she apply for one... that's the only thing I see

I applied for visitor’s visa to attend the graduation ceremony of a family friend which comes up on June 11, 2016 and also to use the opportunity to see a longtime friend. Below are the documents that I used during the processing:
Letter of purpose of visit, letter of introduction from my company and from the mosque that I worship, my statement of account with amount worth 1.8m, acceptance letter and receipt of payment together with course form for my ongoing Msc programme,
From my family friend, a letter of invitation from her school, a letter of invitation from her and her statement of account.
From my longtime friend, a letter of invitation, bank statement and rent lease.
My mistake.
As regards the employmet, I only attached the letter of introduction thinking it will suffice. The reason being it shows when I was hired, my annual pay and department.
Your Help.
I am willing to reapply after I heard from someone that they cannot reject me if they don’t have more than on reason. Since I have reasonable documents I can present I am thinking of giving it a shot. BUT, i don’t know how to go about it, and hereby seek your suggestions.
The graduation ceremony comes up on June 11, 2016 and I do not believe they must have assessed my document before this date. Hope they won’t reject again saying I no longer have any primary reason for visiting?
Can I still use the previous documents that used when I first apply? I mean should all my friends provide a new bank statement or we can still present the one we used during the first application?
Can I still use my statement of account that shows March as the end date?
Will they review the old application when considering the new one?
Do I write a letter of purpose of visit along with another letter to address that I have satisfied the reasons for the reject?
Please I will appreciate a response from anyone to enable me avoid a second rejection.
