That said, for me, I wanted a change from the usual wastefulness of GEJ and cohorts in the face of dwindling Foreign Exchange reserves and crude prices. PMB ticked all the boxes and still does. In perilous times as these, there's none better than a frugal and pragmatic leader!

Nigeria would have spiralled out of control were GEJ still in power. I doubt they would have had any gadgets left to type the bullshit with!

If nothing, I remember they used 6 months to scout and screen ministers (leaving Nigeria on autopilot), and another 6 months to get a budget to work with.
