Umudike is a case of the rejected stone, there was a time people didn't want to go there, 'cos they felt they didn't have swag, the school was pretty dusty then (few tarred roads) and it wasn't entirely popular.
Thanks to the hike in ABSU school fees, from N26770 to N47500 then N70000>, everyone remembered the alternative (MOUAU).

MOUAU is good in terms of quality of education but in every other area they just recently revamped their style_ they are still revamping
Intra campus shuttle? Who dash them? grin

Fine girls? Oriegwu, if you wanna see fine girls go to ABSU... either OPT or business block grin
Umudike girls that wear green and yellow, yellow and red...like otu nzuzo people...

I love the school though, my hubby graduated from there, my brother and sister inlaws, my younger sister...even our last born is in the system.

please, how costly is the hostels off campus? coz I currently pay 180k per year in unical.

With all due respect most new skuls are like dat.so in my humble opinion,in order to rate the skul, let's give it a few more yrs of service then will know wether they will be able to maintain their good structural infrastructure. For me the best skul isnt dat with shiny structure but that with high standard of education

School isnt about past glories, it's all about what yoou have on ground, mouau remains the Best school i have been to in the east, with better infrastructure than any other school from the region.

1. Lecture halls in mouau: all lecture halls are well equipped with projectors

Buy you will agree with me that UNN has a bad hostel, water issues, and no well fucntional intracampus shuttle (u see bikes flying everywhere in the campus). I don't know about other labs, but the biochemistry labs in UNN is nawa ooo. I must stay that I love your library and free wireless

U really honest... You try as you fit chop their food.. I just couldn't...

the hostel issue should only be tagged to the boys, as for the female hostels, the school have the best and conducive female hostels in the country with functional WIFI and constant water supply (running taps). As for bike, commercial riders don't ply the campus, the ones you saw are privates and mainly for students... Hmmm, you are even underrating new Jimbaz laboratory? Maybe you visited when they haven't refurbished the lab.

...in all the den (UNN) is a massive construction site now with masterpiece architectural designs springing up at every nooks and crany.

Couldn't help but just laugh when I saw the shots posted by the op. I served inside Research and I pass through inside MOUAU on a daily basis, I must say those shots went through so much doctoring. The school has pretty good road network though. During my service year I was also opportuned to frequent Enugu and I went to UNN. There's no reason to compare both institutions as UNN is in a class of its own

the school is okay. buh their lecture halls are too small for their large number of students. the transport shuttle make sense sha. the hostel too is an eyesore, maybe if they av finished the new hostel sha, that might be beautiful. I served in that school and lectured. wat I said is legit

You obviously haven't been to UNN na. Not withstanding your overhyping, Prof Edeoga (our Nsukka man) really did a great job in that school to transform a once 'glorified secondary school' to an institution that is robbing shoulders with the best institutions in the country is worth commending. No wonder he was appointed the leader for the propose university of agriculture by the catholic diocese of Nsukka...

MOUAU is really a cool school!
Nigerians will never stop being tribalistic. I wonder what brings the ethnic origin of the vc or former vc to this discussion.

That is to say that Igbos are also highly intra-tribalistic which can not be seen in Yoruba land. After they will say Yorubas are more tribalistic. For example, in Abia state, an ohafia man don't want to see an Ngwa man, an Ngwa man don't want to see an ohuhu man, an ikwuano man don't want to see an umuneochi man, etc. In Enugu state, an Nsukka man dont want to ser an Awgu man, an Udi man dont want to see an Ngwo man, an Nkanu man dont want to see an Ezeagu man. Go to IMO state, an mbaise man don't want to see an orlu man, an mbano man don't want to see an ikeduru man etc. The Igbos forget that a house divided against itself can't stand. God will help us.

MOUAU is not a new school, am sure it's been in existence for over 20years, cos I did my matriculation way back 2005, and it was their 13th matriculation. As for standard of Education, I think it's relative to departments and almost d same every where else. On the average, my alma Mata is cool, buh still needs to be improved upon. Esp in d area of quality lectures, not jst training students to pass exams,

Well,i cant tell if my school is best in east or not,,i think the last vc changed alot,back in 2011 wen i got enrolled,it was dusty and everything was quite insipid,but now things are different,improved structures,fairer exam time table(unlike wen u ryt all ur papers in a week),,,n fine girls,certainly(i rep mouau 500 level Agric econs),cant wait to scorry off this july,,
