@Teegali It's like that in UPTH where I use. The only difference is that as your pregnancy progresses,you will be seen by Senior Registras.Those ones are very experienced too and can handle any case. The consultant may see you close to delivery or if you are a delicate case. However most times the consultant is not around. I have only seen a consultant once and that was the day Residents were on strike. And there are 3 consultants in my team. I'm not particular about seeing a consultant in as much as the doctor is experienced and ready to work with me,I'm good to go. Let God direct.

Just to tell you a little story,There was a female doc in that team I never liked because the day she attended to me,she was acting so distracted. And she's single,so I kinda of felt will she really understand this Peggie thing. I was surprised last week when someone told me that she is the best in handling CS cases.

The reason why shes best in Handling CS is obvious afterall.

My hubby bought a brand called 'andrakk' from spar in portharcourt with one year warranty on febuary.though it helped us during the heat but now the battery is bad when you on it now,its as if na mouth them dey use blow you the breeze.na just shame make me i never carry am back as par warranty .

That's the brand I have and my husband bought it early last year and it's still serving us perfectly. Abeg try and return it before the Warranty elapses. There's a Binatone brand that looks promising.

Teegali, keep using your General Hosp,.if yoy have to register in a Priv Hosp, dont do it with his. Go somewhere else.
The good thing is that in GHs, not one person attends to you all thru your preggy days. Its a random selection thingy.
The Dr that took my delivery was uber-awesome, to think I used to run from him at ANC ( cos he is young and always chewing gum...always).
The one time he attended to me at AnC, he was patient and answered the one million questions I had ( the others always tell me to ask one at most 2 as dem sabi say oversabi na my middle name ). He even brought out paper to explain to me....I was like "Awwwwww he's so sweet buh No I dont want him to deliver me"
Thank God he did.
No other Dr would have had patience for me and the shege I did for them during labour.

72 hours is complete and no contractions yet..i have brisked walked, done long walks, played football all I get is pelvic pains and leg cramps.. my doctor has refused to induce me..he said I shld wait for one more week..doesnt want to take any risk...
Abeg help me touch light the matter..should I continue with the walks and wait for labour to come naturally or insist on induction..

Cos we no even get light to take charge inverter if we buy one...

Well, the instruction says to charge for 12-15hrs before use...I only got to charge it for 5hrs yesterday, maybe that's why it didn't last. Iv been charging it for the past 10hrs today so id see how long it lasts.

My inverter is 5kva and uses 12batteries. We don't have any need for solar right now cos we dey get light gan. But its in Dh's future plans.

But mama you are still 38weeks na? Why not wait 1 more week and allow nature take its due course. I even thought you were above 40 weeks when I started reading your post jus now.
I think you should just keep doing your exercises and see what happens next week.
