This platform is a life saver,I must confess! Kudos to the Pros n gurus here! I am one of those in ghost mode and I have read through the threads to a large extent. I also got the b1/b2 visa early in the year with wify and daughter with intention of wify to give birth in US but the vacation was what we told the VO. It is wrong! And I have learnt a lot here. Wify is now one month pregnant and based on advice here, she and my daughter will be going to NY with Arik for 10 days vac.probably next month. Then when she comes back we can send letter of intent later and other processes. My concern: 1. Texas was where we told the Vo during interview for vacation, hence is there anything wrong changing it to Ny? 2. At the POE we have agreed that if questions like are you pregnant? Answer: yes, but purpose for this trip is for vacation. is the answer proper? I will appreciate suggestions and will like to know if there is anyone in this similar situation with the intention of going to US and coming back, then plan for 2nd trip to give birth. I am a leaner and I am willing to learn the soft way and not the hard way! Thanks 8 Likes |

EvaMD:Hmm Nne this transcript is bare o! I dey seek but I no dey find. You were Asked how much you earn but u no state am here. Anyways since I Do not know the specifics of your personal circumstances, I'll just generalise the advice. How much is it going to cost you to birth in the us? Do u have that amount? Do u have anything left in your account afterwards? You said your MIL wants to foot your bills? Does she have a visa? Have u considered applying with her and hubby stays behind? Because I'm thinking if she's sponsoring and you will go with her statement its good to show for her to show face and establish how 'close' una dey. Cos if she transfers within a short period to you, it may raise a red flag . Darris what I'm thinkin #infalz the bad guy's voice |

colegold100: 1. You may be asked about reason for the change. U simply tell them why. 2. You plan on telling the truth. There's never anything wrong in saying the truth. Last last they l be stamped in for a month |

@ ebiv please how did you manage to travel with your toddler via Emirates?? I will be traveling alone with mine ( she's 2 toddlers in 1!) and I'm having 'nightmares' already! The airlines with shorter layover cost an arm and two legs! I hear Istanbul airport is like idumota , layover is at least 8 hours! Make una epp me with good advice o. I don't want gbege 1 Like |

Hahaha! ROTFL! Two toddlers in one... Idumota market!! Two arms and a whaattt!? Baibee! Nor vex, I nor dey laugh you oh! In fact I emphatise with you. Just that you're a clown sha! but 'zeriouzly' sha: 1. what's the difference between a KLM/Airfrance flight and the Emirates or Turkish flight? 2. If that difference is buying me a shorter layover and fewer hours in the air (after all, does toddler have her own seat? Or will be riding on your lap?) Can I manage it? My advise is to consider smartly for the sake of your strength and peace of mind. Afterall, sometimes that money we're trying to save usually ends up as shopping money. So personally I would give up the dress/shoe/bag/baby items that the 'savings' will get me and opt for travel peace of mind... or how you see am nah? Oya, gugurus, in case i nor make sense, over to you. Momo13: 1 Like |

My dear traveling witha toddler isn't easy... But I understand we have to cos I can't leave my son for anybody.... Just jejely follow Emirates o.... The plane is very big and comfortable, when we got to Dubai, we showered in d bathroom and went to eat.. I allowed him play in the airport nursery so the layover went fast. When we boarded my son started his "wahala" one of the air hostess offered me anoda sit with 3 empty seats beside me, he refused to sleep on the seats just wanted to lay on my long belle( very annoying) when d crying was too much etc they came and carried him for a walk upstairs... An hour later I asked after my son( make e no b say dem don use my pikin do oil money .....) They took me upstairs, see d boy lounging in first class, sleeping on the bed peacefully with sleeping seatbelt in case of turbulence... Mhen! This children no like suffer o...( but first class sweet sha) 16 hrs journey to Houston is like10 mins! Chai anyway I jejely left him thr and went back to my economy ... When he woke up ddey brought him to me and we managed ourselves to Houston...walked round the planee etc.. he Is 21 months and they gave him kids meal... Good day to all the gurus in the house, and for those who have sticked around to help others after having their babies. I went on my first missionary journey in 2014, and got all required information on this wonderful thread, and was active till early 2015. Sometimes in Feb this year I discovered baby No 2 was on the way and I started reading again, I renewed via dropbox and was ready for them to call me cos I read @favoredgal and @lollarojo experience, surprisingly I was not called but got my visa issued after 4 working days and in this 4 days I was gathering all sorts of burden of proof to head to the embassy. God bless u all for ur contributions. Back to my silent mode to keep learning and gathering all necessary information. 6 Likes |

Hey dear, Have you tried distracting her with a tablet and all their kids videos? That's partly what saved me on this trip with my son. I also flew Emirates and the stress no be here. Didn't buy a seat for him cos to me na waste of money. For one thing toddlers are clingy and would rather stress you and hug you and sleep on your chest and for another, there's always an empty seat I can use on the flight jare. ( I generally pick my seat shortly after getting the ticket then monitor the flight seating till the day of the flight, if someone picks a seat beside me, I ask at the counter during check in whether there's an empty seat I can use so I don't stress other passengers haha! Works everytime.) So charge your tablets and load kids educative videos on it. Additionally use the inflIght entertainment to distract her, they have a lot of kids shows on ICE. If you choose to go on this flight try to sleep well ahead of the flight and make sure the moment you get off the plane for your layover you try to get your toddler to play. Run around and all that cos it'll make the second leg easier for you. 7 Likes |

Momo13: Just use the booking confirmation number and your surname to manage the booking on their website. This is best done shortly after you book, it gives you the option to choose seats. For both flights choose seats that no one else is beside you yet then start to monitor. It helps to be as close as possible to the restroom so keep this in mind. That's why I said you should sleep well ahead of the flight cos you may need to play with her and run small. He was 21 months at the time. 1 Like |
