Your uncle is wise and that is a right move. Use the biochemistry.
Yes you can change school and program once you're in canada
I'd advice you to not take your 10 month old child with yoy but to rather have her and your husband as home and family ties.
It's good your husband has the money but like I said it's better they both stay back. You are going to school so make school your first and only priority.
V.O in my opinion wants to know you're not going to have distractions when you go as a student. If you take your child with you she'd be a distraction. It doesn't matter who takes care of her whiles you're in school. You're the mother.you will be distracted. Let her stay home with her father.
Thanks for the response Eugene83.I will go with your advice.

Dats it,Eugene has said it all,i remember bosypumpins app was denied several times becos she wanted to take her suckling baby along wit her. She thought it was normal for one to do dt in her own view bt wen she applied for her gcms file she found out dat the V.O wasnt satisfied dt she wud concentrate while schooling and at d same time nurse her baby. You cn imagine,i kept askin myself hw is it there headache,na dem go carry her pikin for her? See gbege oh.
So i suggest u do that eugene stated.
Thank you, i really appreciate your input.

Exercise a little patience, its quite too early for that kind of amount to be transfered in such short notice a week after refusal leta. Its called money lodging. Why dnt u wait for abt 2 weeks or more b4 u reapply,nd pay d mony bit by bit into d accnt. Are u goin for masters?

Its not money lodging cos he said its his sponsor transferring the money.....so I'd suggest after the transfer just state in your sop that to show willingness to sponsor you , your sponsor transfered an equivalent to ur sch fees(or just say something there) into your account. Your sponsor can also talk about said amount in his letter of sponsorship

Firstly TRV is by grace. Something that work for Mr A may not work for Mr B. You can as well use your offer in physical therapist diploma in applying for TRV but also it is ok to use offer in master as your uncle suggest in order to be on safer side. Because when am applying for my TRV, I used my offer in Therapist Assistant Diploma and I already have a degree in Biochemistry in nigeria before I left nigeria.
And yes, you can change school and province when you get to Canada, just make sure you went through the school and province you used to apply for TRV then you can now change to anywhere you wanted to go.
I will suggest you use your child as home tie but I know it is very difficult because they child is still a baby. But yes you can include him in your application but you have to show good financial standing to CIC to take care of the baby when you are in canada even though the you know the baby will be staying with wife of your brother in law.

Thanks for your response. You mean you used your diploma in Physical Therapist assistant offer to apply for TRV & it was granted even with your degree in biochemistry.

The mere fact that you mentioned that your child will be staying with your inlaw is already a red flag to the VO

The responsibility to your child now becomes Canada expense because your inlaw is probably Canadian.

You already have a better chance in terms of family ties if you allow your husband to take care of the child in Nigeria. Don't spoil am ooo

My 2 kobo
Okay, thanks for your input. I won't mention in my application that my child will be staying with my inlaw.
Well i think the best thing to do is to leave my baby behind with my husband

i tik the masters will be good to apply for your trv with since u have that option,as for taking your baby ,I will advice you do that cause it will be irresponsible to d VO for u to leave ur 10 months old baby for your husband.I have a 2 year old and I applied with her and I have seen so many people successful in doing that .Just state ur hubby has enough fund for the both of you .Having a child is no t a limit to achieving ur potentials and the VO knows that.Dont mention ur uncles wife will take care of her too ,just show funds for the both of u and state ur uncles is in Canada in d questionnaire. All the best to Us .Just pray and leave it be.If it doesn't work out applying with ur daughter at first ,u can always try without her in d next .
Thanks ma, i really appreciate your response.

My wife has a TRV issued till 2019 and we just came back from Canada, we happened to visit some school which we are in the process of getting the acceptance letter. What are the steps for the study permit as we have the visiting visa.

The visitors visa is a good thing to have. If you're interested in studying in canada I'd advice that 1 person begins but the other should be home to serve as home tie. Also no matter how fat your bank account is if both of you apply it might go against your home tie

If you have a Bsc go for an msc/m...in whatever your bsc is or your current work experience is. Honestly first get admission. The rest we all on here can walk you through step-by-step but after you get admission.

Apply for your study permit first (without the baby). When you get your study permit, apply for trv for your baby.
Okay thanks. So you are saying its possible i apply for TRV for my baby after i have gotten mine even while still in Nigeria.? The TRV will be on what boss? :visit visa or which?

Please I need your urgent advice guys!
I just got an admission for a 1-year masters program in Canada and I think I want to defer. I have two reasons for this.
The first one is that my program starts July 25 and I haven't even submitted my visa app although it's just the unconditional acceptance letter from the DLI I'm waiting for. This is because the form A I used to pay the acceptance fee has been delaying so I wanna pay through another means tomorrow unfailingly and get my acceptance letter.
The second reason is that having looked through my options and costs, I think I wanna do a two year program that will give me an easier route of PR because of the 3 years work permit advantage. So I'm thinking of applying for a two-year program with thesame school that starts in January and try to defer my current program to switch to the new program. Although I don't know if the school does it or not.
However, I'm keeping my fingers crossed and will go ahead with my current visa app submission and hope I get it before my program start date, but if it comes after my program has started, can I keep the study permit and use it to resume for the two-year program that starts in January? Will I be able to extend the study permit to cover the two year program when I get to Canada?
Also, is there problem with keeping part of my tuition fund in a fixed deposit account about three days before I submit my visa app and stating that in my SOP and affidavit of support. Meanwhile, my affidavit of support was notarized mid-may and it states that I've fixed the sum for tuition. Is there no problem with the date on affidavit coming before date on fixed deposit certificate?

Yes. Exactly. But that is why I said that what works for Mr A may not works for Mr B. You can follow your uncle advice to be on safer side.

Firstly, let me advise you on your admission letter stuff. Remember that you are going to submit a print out copy of your admission letter to accompany your visa application documents, therefore the V.O was grant your study duration base on the number of year (s) stated in your admission letter. So it will be wise for you to get and apply for the study visa with admission letter that carries two years program.
