Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Manonamission: 6:26pm On May 30, 2016 |
Primetech: Skye and Oando results should be released tomorrow going by their "forward looking" statements Stanbic is still on a long thing with FRC. I am inclined to think that the recent bull witnessed was as a result of the new forex policy. A more affirmative release is rumoured on the 1st of June and I won't be surprised if the bulls rage from thence till the end of the week. Disclaimer: An opinion and not a statement of fact. 1 Like |

Manonamission: What would stanbic gain from forex just mere speculation. The bank is more useless than UBN,they reduced international withdrawal limit per month from very unusual 750$ to just 300$ per month.I think in my opinion that brand is over valued. |

ufotty2001: Please I bought may and baker plc on the 18th April 2016. and closure of registrar for the stock is btw 18_22nd April 2016. do I qualify for dividend? |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Manonamission: 9:00pm On May 30, 2016 |
angelo82: I was referring to the general market bull actually not specifically to the 3 stocks in my post. Don't have the details but I think Stanbic has more corporate shareholders that most banks and the percentage held by them is high. Brand might truly be overvalued. |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Manonamission: 9:12pm On May 30, 2016 |
ogbs2020love: No. Register was closed for 18th (till 22nd). If you bought before closure (say 17th) you would have qualified. 1 Like |

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Intendy: 9:49pm On May 30, 2016 |
Primetech: I don't think so. last year was 8k and it was trading about 52k when the dividend was announced and moved to around 82k but latter to 50k immediately after closure. but market dynamics will dictate that. though still checking up some things about it. |
