Nobody is leaving the security system for the drop-outs,graduates apply and often times are rejected, simply because the "Ogas at the top"believe that this graduates will one day be placed above them due to their level of education, that's is the REAL FACT,am a military fanatics, and if not for this NYSC delays i would have become one, alots of my friends are currently in sambisa and i must say i know at least little on what is going on within the circle especially the top brass, military recruitment this days deals with man know man,i surely believe i will get into the military only with God help, but bro,it's not easy,am obsessed to the extent that i can mention a lot of military hardwares that even a civilian ought not to know, differentiate some weapons, just name it,I believe in God sha.
You will surely get they, it doesn't matter when but I know you will, if that of the military didn't work out I still advice you consider other security Agency, POLICE, CIVIL DEFENCE SSS EFCC etc, but were I'm empathizing is the police force so man well schooled people and sound minds have neglected the police force even if the give them free employment, I once remember how I made up my mind to be a police man I was rebuked by family and friends, I was trying to nurse that dream despite the negative perception people have about them, but they help me killed that dream before it even matured, I guess if we keep leaving these agency for criminals and miscreant to take advantage of then we will continue to be in a society were crime and warlord are the other of the day, that is why we lack good intelligence in this country because for instance how many first class holders are in polices force, or how many creative minds today are in the military, a situation were Boko Haram can make and manufacturer explosive in large quantities and our military is importing ammunition

CONTINUATION OF WHAT I HAD WITH ZAINAB

I den decided to play a fast one on the principal: 'what does it take to marry a Muslim girl as a Christian boy?',i asked. He took time to analyse everything to me and it was more than i ever envisaged.
Before a Christian man can marry a muslim girl there, many transformations will have to take place. At first, you will be taken to their central mosque at Garki headquarter where u will be made to renounce ur faith and embrace lslam. That will be followed by change of name.Yes,u have to chage ur name to an hausa

This is fantastically unfair, well I've two aunty who got married to a Muslim one from Kano late emirs youger brother and another from Niger state but they were allowed to continue their Christian faith but the children remained a Muslim, but one of my cousin she converted to Christian on her own will my aunty didn't ask her or force her, it only happen when she came down her to do her University education and when she graduated she got married to a Christian though she didn't have it easy she fought for it, she stood her ground and her father loved her so much that though he was furious he still grant her her wish. One of my aunty husband is late now the one from Kano but the palace still take good care of her, I've visited her once many years ago, they treat our women well, i think is time we guys start fighting for our right if we are truly in love with a Muslim girl and if she happens to be the woman of our dreams, we should be ready and prepared to face the showdown until we get what we want, like the case of my Muslim cousin sister. For me Oh na fulani girl dey my eye and I was told I should go to adamawa state na that time boko Haram dey hot i wasn't able to go to find d a fulani girl for my self, now I'm in serious relationship with a girl down south, but I still dream to marry a fulani girl guy if I see one I go fight for her i nor lie u, as long as she too will still be ready to wage the battle wit me bible say one shall chase a thousand two shall put ten thousand to flight

CONTINUATION OF WHAT I HAD WITH ZAINAB

When i entered the principal's office dat day,he welcomed me as if nothing was happening but den i fixed me eyes at his facial expression.lt didn’t take long for him to cut short my anxiety.'Kofa jos,' he said in dia Hausa accent.'There is dis rumour i'm hearing and as ur employer,i have decided to call u in here to hear from you.' 'It is about Zainab, the jss3 girl. They said u r planning of getin married to her.Is it true?' His question didn’t catch me unawares because that was what i have been hearing around dat time.I explained all i could to him. From how we were actually clse to distancing myself from part that said we were planning to get married. As soon as i accepted that we were dating,he den told me dat it was actually Zainab's father who ame to him to meet me about the issue. If i was actually planning on getin married to zainab.
He asked me to go that he wud send for me later as he sent for Zainab. From what she told me afterwards,he asked her similar questions o what he asked me but she gave him a particular answered at differed from mine−that we were working towards getin married! When the principal later called me the next day at sch(he didn’t send for me again dat first day),he told me same thing that zainab told me;that we r planning o getin married.I tld the principal that that was solely her own saying dat i neva told her anytin about marriage.Truelly,i haven’t.

That will be followed by change of name.Yes,u have to chage ur name to an hausa name. After that, they will fix a day in which they will kill a ram,use the blood to wash u off all 'Christian lineage and curses' as you are stripped unclad. That will be followed by 3months of learning of Karatu, prayers and ablution. It ia after all these processes dat they will start seeing you as a human being.

You are then qualified to take in their daughter as a wife wia u will be joined in d mosque. After the aure, thats marriage ceremony,u will be given a house there, some pieces of land to farm, two cows and a cart,a place to do business and some amount of money. This is because u wont be allowe to step an inch with their daughter in the name of travelling to your place.Infact, they will 'marry you.' If u must travel, den u r free to travel alone with neither ur wife nor the children. This is because dey dn stil trust u as a convert. They still believe that u might go back to ur Christian life.

After all these explanations, i knew right there that the story has ended even before it started−we can't make it. I didn’t tell her what transpired between me and the principal that day for fear she might do smtin funny to herself .She kept on tellin me all dos while, dat imshud do Salah and she wud be my first wife.I used to laugh such talks off den.
To cut the long story short,i was just been careful with her after that encounter with the principal becos i wasn’t ready for more problems. Thanks to God because our POP was drawing really close.I devised all possible means i could to make her believe that i would come back for her after we have passed out.It asnt just easy for her to buy such idea but i came out tops finally.

Bros I luv this thread, I have been with u from the very first day u start with. But with due respect bros, In Islam there is nothing like killing a ram to use the blood on a converted Christian for purification and stripping someone unclad in the public. Does that make sence to u as a graduate ? I am a muslim from south west.

You can convert Islam overnight. The bath can take place even in your bathroom (Ghusl) , the issue of central mosque is just for people to meet the new converted fellow and may be also for refreshment. The case of blood bath is totally out of it, there is nothing like that in converting to Muslim, the ram might just be for refreshment.

U re welcome bros. It is just like a normal bath with water, you will make a short oral declaration of faith at the end of the bath. Nothing is done in the public. The principal was just trying to let u knw u will be taking to the central mosque for people to know u.
The most important thing is the bath and the declaration of faith which will be done in the bathroom.

Got you, you can tag mine wish, in real terms, but nothing spoil to have one, but it becomes a problem when you refuse to do anything else except that you wish for, like I said I have a serious relationship which implies that I've moved on, that of the soldier i actually said i was nursing the ambition i.e. I did give a thought of been a police man I saw it as an opportunity to serve and be a law enforcer but that thought didn't turn out to be a dream even why i was still trying to convince myself of the positive said of been a police man, many people around me the way they reacted was not positive at all so I killed that thought why it was still at infancy,
But that of the fulani girl I may not go searching for i don't see that happening but if one cross my way, and she happens yo be interested in me i don't think I will be able to resist that my bro. Should I call it obsession hahahaha

I agree with the op on the blood bath because a yoruba Muslim and hausa Muslim re not the same. Reason is that they dont worship together. That is why yoruba Muslims can't know the full doctrines of the quran like the hausas'
