Glo is still the best when it comes to competition and the network though not perfect is matching the demands in terms of subscriber base and internet subscription.... i believe congestion might be the reason for slow connectivity. bigt2 proved this by having lesser access where downloaders were more. a big difference in putting 2 people in a 12x12 room compared to 10. glo needs to increase its bandwidth there.

I still will not recharge my Glo after this. I am not seduced by this. Not at all.

I chose to recharge my glo data because my MTN finished. I can't even use it at home. It only stable in my office in VI. I have Internet in my office so the glo data is not too useful except for whatsapp. At home, no show. I'm not exaggerating. Through out Thursday, I had to do other things at home because the data service was just not connecting.

I'd rather stick to MTN D2000 get call bonus and data than have huge data that I can't use.

If it was doing well, why not? But No! It's of no use having data that you can't use.

When we way a network is fast, it means it's fast in your average location.

I've tried Glo in many places.
I tried it in three southwest Capitals, but the speed was nothing to be proud of.

Shame on Glo.

MTN is not even scared of Glo cos they know they have nothing to fear from a network with poor quality almost everywhere.
Glo has been running their 1k for 1.5gb since last year, and no Network gave a damn, not until MTN did theirs that prompted everyone to reduce their prices immediately.

Glo has been the best browsing network for me so far. If not their cheap plan, MTN for don kill person. Last year i spent 78,000 on data alone, and this year my usage goes up but thanks to Glo for making it possible.

I stay in lagos, and my Glo rock. Its the fastest network where i stay, followed by etisalat. Am currently getting up to 2mb per second as am typing this, also downloading file of more than 1gig

Dat was d reason i dumped Glo also.

Finally, a good data plan for iptv and android tv boxes....i really feel bad for data resellers....

I am so excited about all this data wars. I wish fuel price can just crash like this I cant wait for MTN and Etisalat to respond. I pray it happens tomorrow or today if possible I cant wait. Check article out historical glo data bundle updates for the past two years so much change

Hmmm mm! I wonder if the rest will follow Glo's price lead here. We all know the reason for it is because they have the shittiest, most unreliable network. Airtel, MTN and Etisalat must be hoping none of the other makes a move, cos if one goes the others must follow.

That said though, it's not really costing them much (if any) more. What I've observed is wheen people get more data for the same price, they use it more and then back to square one at the end of the month. Besides the fact that it's monthly means they will still get roughly the same amount in as much as they keep in touching distance with the competition.

This is what competition should bring about. Though I also notice that the quality of the data networks is getting slower and slower. Even the baba of before, etisalat, is not as fast and zippy as it used to be.
