anikkyshaya: If truly she has the 1M in her account, let her use her salary account, e e you have 100million pounds in your account, they have no business with you, They wanna know if truly she can afford to cater for herself when in the UK. But if u insist you wanna sponsor her without her account then apply with immediate effect, Use priority, and also use iKeja, a trial will convince us. |

anikkyshaya: Amount available for the trip and the categories she is to spend it on. Let the chunk of the budget be for her wedding shopping. askari01: askari01: I am of the opinion that she (annikyshaya) sponsor in the aspects of feeding and accommodation while she stake her savings on flight and shopping(afterall she has being saving for her coming wedding). Reason being that she would need budget more than 6/7months salary if she is to be On Her Own. Flight alone should be around 2months plus of her salary. The ECO would mind why she want to spend 7months salaries on 'visitation' |

Hello everyone, please I need you honest advice. Am planning to attend my graduation ceremony soon, but my dad will be the one sponsoring the trip. Although the money required will be deposited in my saving account. Here's my question do I need attach a sponsorship letter from my dad in my application. 2) I will be staying with a friend who is a British citizen during my visit, do I need a letter from him as well. *Note duration of stay. 1week 5days * At the moment currently Unemployed. What other documents can I add to show that my intention are genuine and that am not planning to break any immigration laws. Thank you in advance |

kelljuili: If you are unemployed what are your strong ties to prove that you will return home? This alone is a rejection. Bulk deposit boosting your account, you must clearly show where it came from and why. This is also a risk. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by tunderule2016: 9:16am On Jun 01, 2016 |
IMO...... Leave money in dad account and when you get visa collect the bar... Yes Sponsorship letter from dad... and dad bank statement . If staying with a friend that is fine... but u will need more than a letter cos he needs to show is agreement ... or you can just go to booking.com open account there and find a close by hotel and use your credit card no need to have money inside.. and when u get there u can chose not to go to the hotel and go to your friend. But make sure you cancel.. later. More also, make sure the hotel u choising is pay on arrival. Good luck... kelljuili: |

What if the money is already in my personal account and there's no enough time to transfer back. What other options are available? tunderule2016: |

You have a point also, so how do you suggest I handle the situation? worry359: |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by tunderule2016: 9:56am On Jun 01, 2016 |
As @worry359 said there will be some strong worries for rejection... But you can do the following... Get a sponsorship letter from ur dad and also indicating that he transferred the money for the purpose of your traveling .... for graduation. Also, he needs to print out is bank statement and you will also do the same... cos that transfer must be identified. { I do something personally whenever i want to make the work of ECO easier... I circle my salary becos my salary dont come on exact date but ranges from last week of every month. So you can circle the deposit in the bank statements with the date so the ECO attention is drawn (it is my own opinion u dont have to do it)} Your dad sponsorship also needs to indicate he has sponsored you all through your education. On the form, Additional information box... Explain in there why your dad transferred the money to you in briefs... so u dont give them much of reason of refusal. Let them know your travel records also proves you have never furstrated the immigration rules and you intend to come back to nigeria. You should be fine... Good luck kelljuili: 1 Like |

Dammy112: You submit before booking. If you check the form there is an option there for family or friends in the UK where it asks if you will be visiting them Saying NO would be denying ypy have a parent in the UK. Whether you stay with them or not is irrelevant. Do you have family in the UK - YES. 1 Like |

kelljuili: Leave the money in ur father's account, transferring huge amount into ur account at this time would raise the ECO's eyebrow.... however, how old are you? You married? Do u have kids? Even at that you are unemployed, u have a very slim chances. |

Leaving the money in dad's account is a bit too late for now and it's impossible for me claim the money belongs to me. Age late 20's. Married nil, kids Nil. askari01: |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by askari01: 9:56pm On Jun 01, 2016 |
kelljuili: If that is the case, if truly the money came from your father's account, use tunderule2016 theory, since you studied in the UK, print ur dad's account with yours, circle the transfer that was made from ur dad's account and let him write a sponsor account. |

Hello folks, My company is sponsoring me for a training in the UK. I have had some visa refusals in the past. Is it advisable to get an immigration lawyer to handle my application? Has anyone out there used immigration lawyer for situations like this and they were successful? Is the immigration lawyer required to write directly to the British embassy on my behalf? What are the specific documents that can score me high chances of getting the visa approved. Guys please help, this training is important to me Thanks |
