website is in chinese. There are practice tests for both
GRE and TOEFL.
You can subscribe to magoosh if you can spare the cash. If you

I'll admit i'm a secret disciple of this group since last year and the reasons are not far-fetched: One, because i was an undergraduate but by the grace of God my convocation ceremony is on June 4, 2016. Two, i am not financially buoyant to register for GRE though i have downloaded the necessary materials and i've been practicing but not as intense compared to that of someone who has fully paid.

Now, i am at crossroads as i don't know which schools to apply to but I wish to study in either USA or Canada.

Course of study: Statistics

I intend to pursue a PhD program in Statistics (exempting MSc)

For those who are yet to write an need an online resource, you can try Kaplan online resource, it's free sef, just register,go to kaptest.com/booksonline the answer to the question for GRE premier 2016 is text. Make use of the quiz and the full MST tests which includes experimental sections and the practice set. Towards the exam you can set your quiz level to hard and use study mode not testing mode... And use Princeton to know how you stand in awa they mark awa, if you know someone who has bought any of Manhattan book, 4th edition u can use it too to gain access to their full tests, discovered when it was late, same way you would need an answer in the book, just a single word

Congratulations in advance for your convocation n for a job weldone as an undergraduate. It's good you have started preparing already. M sure u must av observed dis thread offers assistance basically for persons considering graduate studies in US n more importantly to guide persons intending to take d GRE. Studying in Canada from d little I know, u don't need GRE n Test of English (Toefl or IELTS) is exempted in some cases. So if u are able to put up a good SOP and get a professor dat u can work with prior to ur application, den the only thing u might av to worry about is d application fee. The chances are high u will get assistantship with ur profile. Same thing applies 4 US schools too except that now u will av to take both Test of English n GRE (which cost approximately 100k with d present exchange rate), n with a good sop n recommendation letter, it's kindof easy getting funding considering u also intend to apply directly 4 phd, 4low every other thing d great men in dis group av said n m sure u will b rightly guided. I hope dis helps a little

Congratulations on your graduation.
You have an enviable GPA that can get you into top choice PhD programs.
I am aware of the financial challenge that one encounters during this
process, hence you have to be shrewd and prudent in your approach.
Do not apply to a program if you have not done your research exhaustively
on this program. I wasted time and money on Utah State University when I found
out later that they only waive out-of-state and I still had to pay in-state tuition.
This means I wasted time and cash on sending transcripts, test scores, letters.
Use google and usnews to your advantage. SEARCHING FOR SCHOOLS TAKES TIME, A LOT.
Prepare hard for the GRE and get impressive letters from school.
Before you apply, be sure that your prospective schools do not require the
GRE subject test, GRE Mathematics test in your case.

I have not started any application, I'm still doing what has been directed here, research on schools.

Please I'll like to know the economical method for sending of transcript to different schools, some schools require evaluation, some doesn't.

I also noticed some schools waive toefl for Nigerian students, some schools have a minimum score GRE and they waive Toefl, while most have a certain score and lay emphasis on speaking for G. A and T. A.

Please my people that have passed this stage advice a brother

GPA 4.58/5 or 3.74/4 (WES conversion) TOEFL 98 (R28 W24 L24 S22) I'm quite disappointed in my score really, do you think S22 is good enough for TA? I haven't taken GRE yet and this toefl has weakened my spirit. I have all the books you suggested and even more, I studied chemical engineering and the course is quite competitive, do you think I stand a chance?

With a 320, you stand a huge chance in many PhD programs.
For TA, 26S is usually encouraged as this is the benchmark for most top 25 schools.
However, I had a 24S but still got a TA (my program is ranked 90 among program rankings).
22S is the cut-off in my department. As you prepare for your GRE, search for schools too
and start creating a list. Keep us apprised of developments and enjoy your service year.

You get to hear from top professors in top universities in the US.
Some of them have served on admission committees for decades.
I even found a professor I respect a lot from my prospective program there and it was
