Because people have jobs and crazy schedule. One week gives everyone time to interpret the theme and take their photos.
I think it's a good enough time.

For some people it's more than just clicking the shutter button. For some people photography is light and composition and creativity within the frame, and those things need time.

That's all I'm saying, and one week is challenging enough with 'real life' calling as it is. We also don't want to make this too demanding on everyone or very few people (not like we aren't few still) will participate.

My brother it's not just about snapping picture oo. It's about interpretation, composing, finding the perfect light, exposure. It's more than just pressing that shutter button.

Photography is hard work, now I know why those ppol charge high for a good job.
