Being late to the party doesn't mean that you have to abandon your previous works. What Holland is saying is that at least, the Justice league movies should be like a bridge linking the TV shows to the movies and I think that she's right. Since the TV suicide squad were killed off because of the upcoming suicide squad movie(even when most of their characters ain't the same), it means that the TV series can equally affect the movies. What if, hypothetically speaking, the flash movie becomes less received than the TV series? What would happen then? They will kill off Barry Allen and make Wally West the flash? Or cancel the show entirely?.


Anyways the deed has already been done so nothing we say here will change anything.

It doesn't matter. Once WB decided to launch the DCEU they should have involved the TV shows, whether it will last or not. The Arrow TV show is popular and so is the flash TV show, they would have carried the fan base into the DCEU instead of separating them. Imagine if you are an ardent TV flash follower and you heard that he will be in the upcoming justice League movie, do you know how happy you will be?

I think WB made the right move of separating their universe, though I still would have loved Arrow n Flash to be a part of the DCEU but doing so would really make things uncomfortable for them and besides they clearly want their universe to be different with that of Marvel

The universe building for DC only started after arrow was launched. I think WB failed to take DC properties on TV and big screen serious until now. They were skeptical until Zack Snyder convinced them that it was possible to kick-start the universe with Man of Steel. This is exactly the reason why Zack Snyder has not been fired, he helped WB take the risk to start the DCEU. Zack Snyder and some guys actually prepared a timeline slate for DCEU characters which is being used for movie production now. While I like Zack Snyder's vision, his execution remains the main issue many people have with him. I'm not sure John Geoff will do any better after being the arrowhead of a flop like Green Lantern with Greg Berlanti. But a combo of Snyder and Geoff (and then Affleck) is a good concession that might make things better. Snyder is a good visual director, Geoff is a good story/screen writer and Affleck is a good movie director. Hopefully, things will get better at the DCEU!

Exactly..that's what people don't get, if it wasn't for Snyder, we wouldn't be having a JL movie n DCEU. I'm glad Geoff Johns is the CEO now, I really do believe WB has learnt a great deal after BvS and am sure things would start getting better for the DCEU

I've seen the trailer. I can see new footages in the ultimate cut. I saw an extended version of the Nairobi fight and Jena Malone's role. Warner Bros messed up by not allowing the release of this version.

I haven't seen Doomsday in the JL tv show but I know he's no witty talker. I don't think I can defend a BvS with a comedian Doomsday. It was really a good decision to keep him mute

what? The JLU had a d0omsday. He was witty but n0t marvel like. He said tinz like "superman am here to kill u, is this a bad time?" "its who i am, i d0n't tell why" he was voiced by michael jai white that guy who played Gambol in TDK and br0nze tiger in Arrow. I d0n't mean d0omsday being all witty, he should feel m0re like a character than just a plot point or brute. I would've yelled in excitement if they had d0omsday say s0mething like, "hei baby" to WW or "oh yeah" to signify the fight is getting worse than they thought.

Like him or hate him, Zack Snyder knows his directorial onions very well. After watching this mash-up video of MOS/BVS Superman/Zod fights, I will give this director a mighty thumbs up. The BVS story is so well-blended with the chronology in MOS.

Yes I saw the video and no, I've never directed a film before. But I know a lot about film concepts to indicate when a director like Zack Snyder is doing a messed up job. The dude should be sacked! He is not deserving of the praise you are bestowing on him.
