This is a better tool for hollow blocks.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_1UM7My0wiM

Thanks Chairman,

Yes, what you showed will allow a 'nice and neat' job....

But the Bricky Tool does more than that!

The Tool allows you to do a 'nice & neat' job ....... at the SPEED of Hamilton Racer!

That tool you suggested is exhaustible, i.e you "use it up" as you lay the blocks since you cant remove it from the ones you lay.

This means it might not be 'so-economical' as a resource?!

The Bricky Tool does not have such hindrance.

What l am hoping to hear/get is a sort of device which works like the Bricky tool but is also adaptable for hollow blocks, in one go.

Its not a difficult thing to achieve, if we can break the problem down into "manageable quanta".

For example:

If l take the Bricky Tool as it is right now,
a.) How can l incorporate a "flat layer of plastic" that blocks those holes (in our own Naija block) such that the Cement mix does not fall into the holes

b.) In doing (a) above, what mechanism can l incorporate such that l can remove the 'flat layer', as l remove the Bricky tool, at the same time?

c.) Should the 'flat layer' be permanently attached to the Bricky Tool or should be independently removable..... which one is easier?

The Bricky tool has solved the most important aspect of the problem.... it just needs minor adaption.
Sorry, its my #ScienceMind that is wondering aloud! grin

All the same, thanks for suggesting.... l learned something new from your post.

Everything was done by you. Lagos was built by you. Did they pay you in sand? That you can't pay people back for your lack of competency?

Or wait... For you there is an "I" in team. Something that was contracted out to an organization/company is now "you".

Your mentality is disgusting. Your character is disgusting. Everything revolves around you and the villages you built. But you still have nothing to show for it. Where are the students and workers your hired? None of them are here vouching for you at all.

All the time spent here typing sermons and mini novels, I wonder how "you" have the time to get any of these so called projects accomplished. How do you supervise all your "workers". You are just an accomplished liar, with vast experience in stealing from and utilizing others in a negative way for your gain.

Again I say, Humble yourself.

Thank you. Have you gotten a painter yet? ALTHOUGH, I think anyone with common sense should be able to handle the facial painting using gloss paints. You only need a scaffold and brush. If there's no scaffold, he can climb the roof and paint upside down.

I don't have a painter yet, remember I'm not on ground so it makes things a bit difficult.

Thanks.

Now I'm busy actually means you turned tail like a yellow belly.

Yep, you're doing a lot of good for your country, you're ripping off fellow countrymen, stealing materials at night from sites, spending night in jail with lies that you're at a vigil, constructing half-baked sinking houses, ruining your clients retirement dreams. There are at least 3 clients that have placed curses on you on here that if you have any brain matter, you'll be on your knees begging them to recall the curse. Instead, you'll brag and you'll wonder why your hustle isn't reaping rewards like your contemporaries. See how SPyder880 seems to start a build about every other week? And those are the ones that he cares to share. How many estates does he have now? Can you dare try to sell land on Nairaland? Who will buy from you?

Yep, you're a bleeding heart Nigerian all right cheesy

Did you even serve in the military as a good Nigerian? Some of us served first before moving on to other things while you were still a snort nosed little punk so #STFU about asking what you did for your country already.

No be your fault, na the clients wey never haul your #RuntAss to court and got a judgement and then attached your wages and property that I blame. This is why you still get mouth they boast continue.

No to rape! They were all fired!! For every oversight there must be a consequence.

3 key projects supervisors on a project missed one column out of 50 or more columns.
Sure that was colossal error and everyone (including the contractor) involved had to pay for it. They were all fired.

Unfortunately, it was discovered during striking of the formwork. Maybe the correction would have been effected if the contractor found it first.

How does that make one go gaga?

Pls and pls, do not in any way allow ppl to live in your uncompleted building no matter how the person is close to u. As Africans, juju things is certain even if some dont blv in it. These ppl can go any level to cast a spell on you so that you wont have the cash to complete the building and selling it wont come your mind.

it's good they were fired, such errors are the cause of collapse buildings.

If they were fired, did you as the main contractor make amends for the mistakes they made under your supervision??

Respect. The most unfortunate thing is that these errors were discovered by another contractor who striked out the boards from the pillars.

If I am lucky to get the pictures you'll see the pic of the columns during formwork stage, you'll hardly notice the error because all the blocks were fully covered.

My part of the blame was that I didn't check well enough before approving the casting and no one told me anything.

Sure, it was an oversight but a simple error that can be corrected by reinstalling the column or starting a new one afresh.

Unfortunately, I saw it first here.

Cry me a river! You don't know Lagos State Planning Authorities or EFCC. I'm doing what's convenient for me. And the client accepted. So what's your headache?

I forgot to add that the first citywide WIFI in Sagamu, Abeokuta and Governors Office/Secretariat, Ogun state were done by me. That should add to your headache.

#AskThoseWhoKnow

Those are positive contribution to the nation and not some st.upid rants on faceless forum.

When I say me, check the name of the company and the name of the director that was awarded the projects.
You are a fraud and a disgrace to Builders on this site. Only you brought regus drink to Nigeria, only you dey service shopping malls in Nigeria, only you dey give a whole community electricity, only you dey construct community roads, only you, only you, only you. Even the dump truck that you claim to have is a fraud , am ready to stake a bet with Big Eguns on this that the truck does not belong to you. At times I wonder how old are you? Because its only a teenager that behaves the way you do. Big Eguns i am still waiting for you on betting on brabus integrity.
Re: General Topic Thread-To Discuss Anything And Everything in Building Construction by FastShipping: 3:40pm On Jun 03, 2016
Baba Egunmogaji and Brabus, please, let peace rein here. Baba Egunmogaji, I thought Brabus has always had your back on this forum - vice versa. You have always defended Brabus on this forum even when you knew he did wrong. So what happened now? You should have been the adult in the room when Brabus erred instead of resorting to this mud fight. Brabus is not even grown enough to be your brother's mate. He should be more like a son or close to it.

And you Brabus, this back and forth with every tom-dick-harry is not good for your soul. Learn to be humble. Stop letting things be about "me-me-me" at all time. Always be the first to run from a fight. It doesn't make you a coward. It makes you an adult in the room.

Mr. Agarawu, what is your gain in this? Respect yourself, sir. This is not the way to act. I'm being candid with you.

N.B

And for you other internet warriors stoking flame, continue with what you know best.

Get a life!
