This story is just to tell how empty some customers of the bank could be. You sent money through a platform, the platform would have validate the account name to you before you confirm the payment, you paid into a wrong account yet you want the bank to be blamed for it. This does not make sense to me. We are quick to blame but in actual sense the fault is of the customer. Be open, you mistaken a number in the account number you submitted Next time take your time to confirm necessary payment before you submit your payment. |

The issue I have with the bank here is that it shouldn't have taken forever to respond to the customer. Also having similar issue with skyebank, I did the transfer like 3weeks ago and the recipient didnt receive the money. These banks are just kinda annoying tbs |

why is everyone blaming the lady? why didnt fidelity track the transaction when she made the complaint. They had to wait until after 6months. when the beneficiary whould have even forgotten the money received. Fidelity is at fault here.. Similar case happened to me last year but it was rectified instantly before posting because as they imput the prticulars it just doesn't match and while stillon the line, the banker respectfully calledmy attentionto the error and I corrected them. If you ask me what happened in this case, I suspect the banker on desk the day she tried to make the transaction. I guess, he/she would have noticed it but chooses to make fast fingers with it for personal disposition and until serious security involvement, I fear that the bank will cover-up their staffs afterall, they all have their own means and stillof getting something aside salary. amtaken: |

dominique: Like DzTzl and other posters rightly stated, it is a virtual interbank transfer; the error is from the customer. She should have verified the beneficiary's details before consummating the transaction. Where the bank went wrong is the delay in feedback. She would have to slug it out with the unintended beneficiary to retrieve her money. |
