The Night's King in the books was no Other. He was a Lord Commander shortly after the wall was built. The 13th, who fell in love with an Other and gave her his soul. The producers just loved that name, "Night's King", and chose it for the leader of their White Walkers. There is no contra.

Gilly meant that if she were a girl Craster will spare her life. He only offered his sons to the WW. As for the Nights Watch, they existed even before the WW according to the books. NightFort was their base, castle black wasn't even built then. But after the defeat of the WW, the wall was erected.

4. The alliance between men and the children of the forest and the fight back plus the arrival of summer.

5. The building of the great wall, winterfell, storms end and creation of the nights watch
