Please is there anyone who has in-depth knowledge of the school and city? Please help a brother out… You can please reply under these headings (but you are not limited to it); I. Fear not, you only need to convince the VO that you have a very strong relationship with your sponsor. Know more about him. Many people came here with letter of sponsorship including me.

I have got admission into two schools : Honschule Ravensburg Weingarten(M.Eng) and University of Rostock (M.Sc). All for Electrical Engineering. The former is in the South while the latter is in the North.

I need a constructive advice that would help me make a decision. I heard Rostock has a high unemployment rate and need a lot of german to get by.

You will enjoy weingarten.Student job and hostel is relatively available. But during the higher semesters you need German for your program.Nigerian community to make u feel at home.

Rostock is more affordable but in terms of job Weingarten is better off.

Scan the receipt given to you by the embasy during the course of opening your block account, your admission letter and your passport data page and send it to the E-mail address for booking which will be written at the back of the receipt . You will get a response from them thereafter. Shalom

embassy is a more preferred choice, its free and has a wide range of acceptance, some. schools don't collect court stamps/seals, dey want only embassy stamps.so it's best doing it at embassy or confirming if your school collects court (300N per doc or so)

U can book ur visa appointment with the slip u get after opening the db account

Nein, that's like 2-3 A4 pages. This one just answers the same question the V.O would ask during the interview "Why Germany" and maybe Why you want to study your chosen course. Though I have no idea if it's same for everyone. This shouldn't be an issue I think.

Congrats on your admissions, bro! I also gained admission into University of Rostock; same course of study(M.Sc Electrical Engineering). The comments so far about Rostock as regards high unemployment rate calls for a bit of concern sha.UniRostock is my second most preferred school;UniSiegen(M.Sc Mechatronics) really rocks for me (still expecting their notice of admission though).Let's relate on this UniRostock thing.Hope you have applied,online, for a hostel accommodation?

The choice is yours bro. You cant eat your cake and have it. Since Ph.D is your aspiration, you can forget student job during studies. During semester break you can work in other cities.
