fratermathy: the culture of southern abia state is very similar to efik/Ibibio. not to mention arochukwu. I'm talking of the bende area. they practice ekpe system and not ozo. during festivals the incantation to bring out masquerade is ancient efik. not to talk of names like ekaette etc the abiriba people bear. and the Igbo mixed with a lot of efik they speak. in fact if that area was carved into SS. they will start the denial game ikweere people play. just due to the accidental map adjustments occassioned by diverse factors which I would rather not go into. 3 Likes |

I asked from both side before concluding.....it will be good if u do sir |

ikechu1: Brother why do you waste time with some of dis Yoruba people? Everything Igbo de pain dem. Igbos say let us go e pain them. Igbos say let us stay e pain dem. That Igbos intermarry their neighbours (such as my own Brother married to Calabar woman) de pain them. That Igbos plenty for states like Delta, Rivers etc de pain them. You will see their divide and rule tactics against Igbos on full display. That Igbos even trade with their direct neighbors de pain dem. That Igbos full Lagos de pain dem. That Igbos trade in the North de pain dem. Have plenty of Hotels in Abuja de pain dem? Igbos hold national office na dem go de attack de person. You can expect dem to full Igbo threads to spew thrash or hate. No mind some of this Yoruba. They have hitched themselves to North West that will never really respect them bc they northerners no say rest of south is a no go for Yoruba. 3 Likes |

okuneddie: Which book you mean the one from the murderer that committed genocide...infact, I wish you are here, I wan slap you small. I wan slap you for this your suggestion. While I'm at it, you didn't get the story from Annang people, you got your version from Alabi, who is not annang. Secondly I don't care what BA did to Edo people, whether true or false...I don't care. cause I know from the survivors mouth that Edo people were the set of civilians that repeatedly dragged anioma to be killed by the NA. They equally pointed out their neighbors who are SE for them to be killed by the military therefore, any sympathy that I was supposed to have went out of the door when I heard those people wicked act. 2 Likes |

Nature129:Bros the issue with Nigerians isn't black and white.the truth is despite all this quibbles here and there, the country doesn't even come close to breaking up anytime soon.we are actually more united than we think.for instance the Igbo pple who look the most active in secession chants are the most scattered of all the 250 plus tribes in Nigeria and we all know most don't plan on returning home.now tell me how such people can truly pursue secession. All we need in Nigeria is a little restructuring and for our politicians to be a little selfish and actually try to make peace with each other God bless the federal republic of Nigeria |

jollymizzle: I'm Igbo BTW, and you should understand why the Igbos are so scattered. After the war, Gowon proposed the 3R and never implemented anything. In the quest to survive, the Igbos had to run to other regions. Now, they have relatives scattered all over the place. And secondly, the Igbos believe in moving out to take business opportunities. That's why no Nigerian tribe is into business today like the Igbos. Moving forward, the present Nigerian structure isn't working. Obviously, Nigeria needs true federalism or regionalism. I hear the challenge, from the last confab, is that north central people don't want affiliation with Hausa/Fulani domination because their capital will be in Kaduna. |

jollymizzle: Some Nigerians like the Obong of Calabar, the last emir of kano Ado Bayero get sense others don't. These rulers with sense make sensible statements engendering peaceful coexistence and calm. Can you imagine the Deji of Akure or Oba of Lagos showing concern for kidnapped Igbos like this Obong?? 2 Likes |

RickyTan: Your comment shows your level of intellectual depth, for your information, on monthly basis, the money fg is getting from Ondo state, an oil producing state and Lagos state is far more than what fg is giving all the SW states combined in form of allocation. Divide Nigeria and see us prosper, we have done it in the past, we can do it again 1 Like |

I have never seen a set of people so stupid. Your people are being kidnapped and all you can say is divide and rule to refute the news. You always want to attach yourselves forcefully with ppl won't don't give 2 phuckss about you. By the time all your brothers are kidnapped and killed in akwa ibom, then you'll come back to your senses and stop blaming yoruba ppl for your misery. 3 Likes 2 Shares |
