Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 3:43pm On Jun 06, 2016 |
As much as it hurts me to say, GSW will lose game 3 due to some degree of complacency. It will be a close loss maybe by 1pt. Then they will sit up in game 4 and make it 3-1 and then wrap it up at the Oracle in game 5. God knows I am not trying to talk smack. I said it here that OKC was the real NBA finals and not Cavs. I am not trying to disparage them, but I figured since Rockets and PTB stole a game from GSW, then it won't be too much to expect Cavs to do same. Again I repeat, Cavs are playing against destiny. A team that all the ESPN and TNT analysts didn't even nominate to repeat as champions. A team that when 3-1 down to OKC, people started scoffing at. A 73-win team. NB: I didn't watch the game at all. That's how confident I was that they would win the game. I will rewatch the game later in the evening. Let me even read up on how it went. |
Re: The NBA Begins by Mizzzbeee(f): 3:53pm On Jun 06, 2016 |
OKC would be kicking themselves right now, cuz this would have been their year. I have to say Cavs got no chance even with OKC in the finals But as Eruditor said they both were playing against destiny!! i called this before WCF i said we would 3 peat ..... |

Eruditor:AS much as i am having a ball!!!! Freely speaking, and calling people out in which they are too scared to reply (Birdman, lolawilliams(mehn this lady's mention wud be buzzing ), kliq, sircumalot and co) i kinda agree with you. We might not win Game 3. I think we shudnt, so that all these people would at least show up on this thread . Also, i want an oracle celebration. Warriors in 5 2 Likes |

Mizzzbeee:for the first time it seems u re in same line of view with me . if we (OKC) had been in the finals against CAVS God knows I wouldn't even predict a game 5 sef... as I said previously we have already seen the finals at the conference level, this is just some pre-season match......wonder what I was thinking with my earlier predictions |

I really don't see why the Warriors can't go for a sweep if they put their minds to it. The Cavs are there for the taking Seeing Cavs fans whine about calls just makes me want to see their team get swept so badly!! They have a significant free throw advantage despite playing 2 road games at the Oracle and losing by 48pts its crazy!! I was really disappointed with the Cavs and their lack of fight last night. I fit change am for anybody wey ever list LeTravel in the same breath as M.J and Kobe, This ninja went to sit on the bench with 10 mins left to play as if Game 3 at the Q is a given. Didn't he see the Mavs come back from 15pts in 6 minutes on the road against his very team just 5 years ago? That is why I always say all them stats count for zilch, this guy never delivers when it matters The Strength in Numbers slogan could not be more apt. Who do you shut down in this Warriors team? Everyone finds a way to make an impact. Green who had a terrible series vs OKC has seen a matchup he likes and is pummeling Love to submission. Bogut threw a block party and instilled the fear of God in the Cavs. Lue's coaching has been laughable. He wanted to run small ball with LeBron at Center I laugh sotey I nearly bricked myself. Someone that struggles even at Power Forward. Is there still hope for the Cavs? Technically yes but with their present lineup probably not. Unlike the Raptors and Hawks Golden State has someone that can actually lock down their best player and throw away the keys and the best part their offense can play with him and without him. I really think its best they drag down the pace of the game and turn it to a war of attrition (And pray the Splash Bros don't spaz like they did against OKC) The Cavs cannot afford a shootout they do not have enough bullets As for Golden State what is there to add. They should end this quickly provided they don't get arrogant or complacent 1 Like |

OohMpa: Roland17:I am pro-Nadal but you got to respect this guy's consistency. The Djoker is built from Titanium and Adamantium. Beast Murray is a mental midget. He has all the tools, a great serve, superb backhand strokes, excellent footwork but he always wilts under pressure. One would have thought his breakthrough in 2012 would have seen him challenge Novak's dominance after Nadal's body literally broke down on him, That a guy like Wawrinka already has two Grand slams despite not breaking into the big time until 2-3 years ago says a lot about how Murray has underachieved 1 Like |

He improved on his jumper and tried the post-up game quite a bit especially while he was with the Heat but he seems to have gone back to bulling all the way to the rim now since he doesn't trust his J anymore. The post game is literally non existent |

Re: The NBA Begins by OohMpa: 9:16am On Jun 07, 2016 |
A40: This your hatred for LeBron don blind you well well. You're losing by 20+pts after 3 quarters, what you have him do? Every player does that, even Curry sat out a complete 4th quarter against OKC. There should be no hate here, really... And you just said he doesn't deliver? Without him, Cavs go smell playoffs? He's had game winners and clutch shots more times than Ooh Mpa could ever remember. He deserves to be mentioned with Kobe and MJ. Bro, in as much as Ooh Mpa wants a Warriors win regardless of their cocky fans, you just committed a blasphemy 1 Like |
Re: The NBA Begins by Manutd19: 10:06am On Jun 07, 2016 |
OohMpa: Big No! Lebron is and shouldn't be in same league with Jordan. Maybe Kobe but he's not better. People always say "without him", "he has no help", he's all round" shit as an excuse for him. The guy has no fight in him. He named himself King, he chooses his team, player he wants to play with, the coach he wants.....so what's the excuse for him not delivering when it matters most. The only asset he has on offense is the drive. Poor post up game, ordinary jumpers, bad offensive skill set, thank God for the body he has. Jordan & Kobe would be winning you 4 out of 7 finals at least. Lebron is about to go 2-5. A king o, who was tot to be d best player for years now about to go 2-5. Shows is recruiting is poor, poor knowledge of d game, bad decision making. He's not in same league with Jordan/KOBE 3 Likes |
Re: The NBA Begins by Manutd19: 10:11am On Jun 07, 2016 |
For 2 consecutive years, Lebron can't shake off iggy. Lol try imagining Jordan/Kobe experiencing that. Jordan will be dropping 40 on him second or third game after going tru that in 2 games max not to talk of 2 years. |
Re: The NBA Begins by Skywalker5(m): 10:49am On Jun 07, 2016 |
OohMpa: He will be regarded as one of the greatest in the game but definately not in the same league like MJ and Kobe.there are greats and there are Greats and he is not even close to both of them. He needs to do more to get to the stage where MJ and kobe reached. This guy has been recruiting 2 other super stars trying to get a ring.Wade and Bosh, now irving and Love. if he has stayed in Cleveland since and were recruiting as they went along, that will be understandable but he has been the main factor in chasing super stars before deciding where he wants to go. He went after Bosh when he went to heat and wade was there. He then came back to cleveland because Irving was a super star and we went after Love also.kobe and MJ never did such.Kobe had Shaq and they made some of their team members superstars. James has been looking for shortcuts ever since. he bragged about the amount of championships rings he would get. He made the public hate him.I do feel sorry for him now but his "check my stats" t-shirts really made me dislike him. His is not paid to put on stats. He is paid to win championship rings. His King James persona was really annoying.A new kid in the NBA and he talks about winning so many rings when even some of the best players in the league had not even had the chance to get. He was not humble from the start and that's what really made people criticise him a lot. I feel he is humble now but people don't forget the past easily. I don't want james to get a ring in cleveland till maybe 2018 or 2019.By then people would have just left him as just another NBA star player and then he gets a ring there. |

Re: The NBA Begins by birdman(m): 11:31am On Jun 07, 2016 |
joephemzyz: lol, why na. I havent been following the series...some life events I needed to attend to, but thank God God is still good I did catch the 3rd quarter of game 2. Boy that was laughable. The Cavs just made the case that we should have top 1-16, not ECF/WCF. LBJ's rep is also shot. The only way it gets redeemed in any way is if they win the next two home games. Cavs got exposed big time. Lue's looked lost. LBJ looks resigned to his fate. Im still rooting for the cavs - I am not into bandwagonning |
