Don't misinform the young ones here. How old were you in 1984? PMB met almost the same situation like he met last year. We had a super corrupt and rich senate. I remember a meeting held that time and we had 59 private jets all owned by Senators. This was at a time primary school teachers were being owed up to 18 months salaries. He brought Nigeria out of the woods but unfortunately, corruption fought back and he was overthrown by those that had their hands already soiled.
Corruption is fighting back now also but the good news is we are in a democracy. His administration cannot be overthrown by a coup. So he has the luxury of time to cure the craze of our corrupted State. I was an undergraduate in 1984 FYI.
