The bitter truth is that there are good citizens and there are bad citizens.

There are good cops and there are bad cops, there are corrupt bribe stricken cops and there are godly corrupt free loving and sympathetic cops.

Just like every organization, every offices, everyone region, state, home and family. There are good and there are bad individuals.

Jesus said, "let he who is of no sin, cast the fist stone".

The philosophic truth is that: Kudos to our men of the Nigerian police officers for their selfless service to the nation, they are the only organization that do not go on strike in Nigeria, they work with little or no motivation, they work with little or no equipment or accoutrement, they are they only organization whose allocation or vote is delayed before release by the federal government and yet they keep working, they are the ones with years of no salary increase by successive governments apart from yar'adua administration, they are the only organization who receive last month salary at the first to second week of the next month, they are the only organization who go on transfer without transfer allowance, they are the only organization who do not go on leave during festive period nor receive leave allowance,they are the ones that has never been given duty tour allowances, nor hotel accommodation allowance, nor training allowances even for their professionals in various training schools at home and abroad, nor have they received any operational right even after the fake reform by the FG, they are the only organization that fuel their official vehicles by sourcing for money and stay in the sun, rain and harsh-est condition just to protect your life's and properties, they ar the only organization who buy and sew their own uniforms from their salaries, they are the organization who is mother to all other organizations in Nigeria including the military but has remained stagnant due to government inactions.

When you see a police officer, especially those that are truthful and those who respect themselves, those who knows the law before enforcing it, those that will not cheat you or maltreat you, to those of them who truly arrests you for committing a crime and refuse to take bribe but charge you before a magistrate or judge, to those of them who do their job and pass your file in the office without requesting, to the fallen police officers who died truly defending your fatherland even without receiving life insurance or gratuity by the government or your authorities, to those who was sent to combat robbery/other crimes without required equipment. Your blood is in the hands of those that took your welfare rights. I salute your spirit of patriotism and today Nigerians honor you just like a police officer is honored in America. To the bad eggs, you shall all be shown the way out.


When you see a Nigerian police officer, respect him cus he is so groomed to face any storm fearlessly, efficiently and intelligently. when you see him, he can defend his government with his last blood, when u see him, he is so civil, pays tax, patriotic and so vast in human and capacity trainings.
