Good day everyone, I would like to find out some affordable schools in Toronto/Ontario I can apply to, as my bro resides there and adviced me to get a sch around there. I graduated with a 4.05/5.00 Bsc. Computer Science and I would like to go for Msc. in Computer sc(winter 2017). After much research, I got a sch; Carleton University... but any contribution I can get from here would be highly appreciated.

I am currently serving(NYSC) and I learnt from this thread that it is never to early to start applying.

thanks.

Hi guys, for those who did their evaluation through WES.

I got mails this night that photocopies of my documents have been sent to my institutions for verification. And am wondering if they were sent by courier or email.

Please, those who's passed this stage should kindly enlighten me to enable me follow up.

Thank you.

It depends on the way your school receive check with the registrar's office. It's either email or normal post, courier is something you request for and you will be charged additional money.
Give it like 2weeks your school should receive it if it's normal post

Hi. Sorry you had to go through that stress. You can look into studying in Denmark or The Netherlands. Both countries visa processes are straightforward and chances are high so long as you cross all T's and dot all i's. They also have programs for international students to stay and work after graduation. Fees are reasonable at some - if not most - of their institutions. I attended Utrecht University, Netherlands and I loved it. Downside is you can't work while studying. It is impossible to get student work permit as companies have to fill forms a mile long so they choose not to. You also look into Scotland. Presently the country is clamoring for UK govt. to bring back post study work visa international graduates of Scottish institutions. Chances are the Scots with get their wish soon. I wish you the best. Good luck.

Hello guys,

Kindly assist, i am to go on a short training to the United Kingdom, However, the processing time in Nigeria for canada student visa is 14weeks, which means if i submit my passport i will not be able to go again.

However, i am to go to canada against August/september admission, the processing time in the United kingdom is 2 weeks. Can i apply from London?

You can only apply for visa to another country from a country whose (permanent or temporary) residence permit you hold. You cannot apply from the UK if you hold a visitor visa. Best wishes.

Any Dalhousie applicant Herr? Need some help with the reference submission. Can't I submit reference letters on my school's letterhead paper? Do I have to use their form? Got stuck here when applying.
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 10 by stainzee: 8:37am On Jun 08, 2016
Good day everyone.
I was recently denied a study permit for the reasons above:
-Purpose of visit
-Length of proposed stay in Canada
-Person assets and financial status
For the personal assets and financial status, I submitted documents stating that my dad is my sponsor, attached bank statements and sponsorship letter and I am supposed to complete my Bsc this June with intention to start my Msc in sept and do not have assets.
I would love to get your various opinions on this

Don't worry yourself about the arrangement, just get all your docs intact. When you get to VFS your docs ll be arranged properly for you at the pre-submission stage. You can take along your original documents but they only accept photocopies. You can make 2photocopies of each document. I hope this helps. I wish you luck.

There's a form. Then you may choose to put an addendum in form of a letter in your referee's organisation letter head.

Hello Teehp,
I understand that you must be distraught and disappointed right now. I empathize with you. My best friend was in your shoes months ago, things worked out well on the second app. Yes the process is pretty much annoying after the long wait, and all but you didn't wait this long to settle for less or compromise.

How about you seek for gcms notes like someone earlier mentioned? We can't advise properly until we have details of your app. It's just a phase, don't see it as an end.

Hi,
You would submit originals and one photocopy each of admission letter and letter of acceptance. Then originals of bank statements and bank reference letter(No photocopies needed)
Basically, vfs would ask u to submit photocopy of any document that is not specifically addressed to Canadian high commission.
So, your signed letter of consent should be addressed to the Canadian high commission for the originals to be accepted.

Hope this helps you.

All glory to God, I applied online and was a silent addict of this group throughout the period. Thanks to sholay2011, he was my offline guru and thanks to all the guru here God bless.
Here are docs I submitted

And that was all I think . loads of prayer, fasting , retreats.
Just be true with your application and I wish all medical and all trv hopeful all the best. It shall come soonest. My app too 3 months . sorry for the long post .
