99.99% of the accidents that occur in Nigeria don't find victims quickly rushed to hospital. A very important missing link to saving life. FG please do something. One of the impediments to this is the reception sympathizers would get from the hospital or the police if they take responsibility at the scene. In most parts of the country you have private clinics or hospitals evenly distributed. If Clinics are not just a business in Nigeria then they could do more in providing casualty or trauma care at least at the first hours of an incident. Most persons will redeem the medical bills of their loved ones if they find out that the got the needed care after an incident or at least happy that their life was saved. One of my suggestions on a NL post was that the Fed ministry of health, State health ministries and NGOs should do something to ensure that clinics or hospitals can get some support so they can receive and attend to intensive care or first aid arising from accidents or disasters, this including ambulance services. It is better if a doctor examines a patient minutes after an accident and he is the one to declare the person dead. Money is now being saved on petrol subsidy , this a good place to put 25% of the saved funds, for the benefit of all Nigerians especially those who might be so unfortunate to be unknown when incidents happen. |

This is an example of how Nigerians get their priorities wrong. Mourning, chanting Aliamdulilai or Blood of Jesus will not bring the woman back nor prevent a reoccurrence of this probably tomorrow. So, what should we do to minimise such. Imagine if the billions stolen by Dasuki and co had been diverted to having closed circuit cameras on our roads then every hit and run driver can be traced. And if everyone knows that there are cameras monitoring the roads then they would be more careful knowing that they would be caught. So, every bad thing befalling us in this country still boils down to corruption. No amount of shouting the blood of Jesus or Allah will solve our problems for us. we have to be practical with our solutions. If it means stoning the corrupt govs, senators, reps so be it. Maybe even if Keshi had access to better health facilities in Nigeria he would not have died at such a young age. We must stand up to fight the fantastically corrupt politicians in our midst. |

And the driver may never be caught. For very obvious reasons. No Police patrol in the area or none was notified within minutes of the incident. No prompt and decisive manhunt for the culprit because things like that can only be sponsored by victims. There will be enough time for the driver to fix his car or change color and get back on the road. RIP to the victims. The bereaved family will be made to pay to tidy up the mess. |

Products Speed Bumps in Nigeria BY HIPHEN SOLUTIONS Speed Bumps Speed humps are raised devices, parabolic in shape, placed across the road to slow traffic.. The sloped design over a 7 or 14 foot length of space encourages cars to slow down without coming to a halt. Often considered the most traditional physical traffic calming solutions, speed humps calm traffic more gradually then speed bumps, although less so than speed tables. They are ideal for residential roads and are generally used to bring speeds to between 10-20 mph. Speed humps should ideally be installed in a series to create ongoing traffic calming. They are best placed mid-intersection on roads with low speed limits. Hiphen Solutions speed bumps are available in heights of 3 or 4 inches. Often used in lengths of 7 and 14 feet, the humps can be customized to any length and to the width of your roads in increments of 18. WE CAN INSTALL ANYWHERE IN NIGERIA
