Hi all, can you please help with this issue or give a suggestion, have got fog light on my bumper that is always, its connected to work with the headlights and not stand alone. problem the bulb usually burns out after a long trip or after a while. what is the possibilty of;
1. getting a good DRL in place of this ordinary bulb to work independently with car starting or,
2. getting a good grade bulb to connect to parking light.
bottom line is i just need the lights to last and work alone independent of the headlights. Any good rewire/tech in house that you can recommend.

Cc: Ikenna, Sienna... thanks (Car is a toyota camry 2000/01)

My Toyota camry "Pencil" O/D keeps flashing on the dashboard, changed the gear oil and its still flashing and I didn't hit the button. Is that a sign of something bigger or I shouldn't worry?

you should re-scan abs module for errors. You vehicle speed is determined by the abs module through the abs wheel speed sensors.

Please guys, I need candid advice from car experts here-in. Please any where u guys are, abeg come hear my cry...

I curently drive a Toyota Camry pencil light which I'm getting tired of. A car dealer offered to swap my camry pencil light with a Toyota camry D-light aka "big-for-nothing". Pls, is it a good deal? Which of 'em is better? Am I moving up the ladder or regressing? Is big-for-nothing better and more economical than pencil light?

I'm waiting for your numerous advice pls. thanks!

If its a tokunbo car that has not been tampered with or clean well maintained registered car in great condition, then its an upgrade and its progress.

I have a Toyota solara. it has been around for a while and the door is kinda weak. It doesn't lap well when closed. It drops down a bit when opened and needs to be raised a bit when closed, though it closes when slammed. It's obvious the hinges are worn. Please can the hinges of this ride be replaced so it can lap perfectly when closed and give dt sweet sound of closing a car door? Not some rickety sound. If yes, what exactly is involved in doing that? Thanks

Hi Guys, i was told Camry 2004/5 has engine issues by a dealer who discouraged a buyer from buying such and rather suggested Camry 2000.

Has anyone any more elaborate info about the engine issues of Camry 2004/2005

Thank you plenty

You need to make up ur mind before buying your car and please don't allow anyone to discourage you... A V6 engine is a big engine and you will enjoy it most when compared to A v4 or lesser engine capacity cars.... In some cases, you spend more on V6 cars ranging from fuel, parts etc.. But a well maintained v6 engine wont disappoint you..

Good day guru's in the house. am sure this issue might have been treated somewhere on this forum before but don't know how to search for it. Pls, what is the correct tyre pressure for the front & rear tyre of my Toyota sienna 2000 model? I recently bought new tyres with sizes 215/70R15 but the info at the door says 30 & 32psi. Even when inflated to 40psi it still looks under inflated. pls what is the correct psi? the van is for private use. Mod, kindly pls move to the appropriate section. Thanks.

Did you use the road side tire pumper, popularly known as Vulcanizer?

If yes, then walk into any Total Filling station or any standard filling station or Tire store that does wheel alignment and balancing and ask them to pump your tire for you.

They use a very standard pumping machine and Barometer.

The road side pumper don't measure pressure accurately.

IF the above is done and you still feel your tire is under inflated, while pumped with the accurate pressure. Leave the tire that way.

It's normal. Or check your dashboard. A tire Pressure stability sensor should blink if it's not well pumped ( Note: i talk from a honda experience. I mean sensor. I don't know if the Toyota model you talk about has such sensor. However i think it should ).

what time of the day do you pump the tyres?
Have you driven the car abit before you pumped it that day?
Did the vulcanizer use a meter type or digital tyre pressure or t6e normal stick type?
If yes, its a wrong pump procedure, if no, go over the process again

Thanks, the tyres were changed and pumped by a road side vulcanised and no tyre sensor check light on. I Will look for a standard filling station as advised. Am grateful.

I noticed it about thirty minutes after change and it was the stick type pressure used. I will try and locate a reputable station for confirmation. thanks a million.
