This is not the same scholarship with BEA scholarship. This is a direct scholarship funded solely by the Turkish govt for International scholars.

Am now able to access all my details including all the 12 departments and universities that I chose and all the information I provided during application.

I just printed my form now. I can now sit down and read what I filled so I won't be thrown off balance come Tuesday.

You would have read the messages before you. it is not the FG own. It is solely sponsor by turkish government. Hope for that one. ok.

No costs to apply. Applications usually start April every year and ends March every year. But it might change next year. So google is your best friend, and Bing your second best.

We are far from that....out of 72k ppl , 10k were chosen for interview. Out of the 10k, 5k will finally be chosen for the scholarship. The results of interview is mostly released a month after.

This is the calender. Looks like results will be out august. July is for collation of results

From what I read from their site, 95,000 candidates applied from 127 countries worldwide after which 5, 000 scholars will be chosen so I don't know the number that were shortlisted for interview yet by the committee.

I don't know the number of Nigerians that applied and how many where called for interview. Let's keep our fingers crossed until we get to Abuja.

I don't just want to believe that after going to the embassy for interview that we will still go their again for visa interview.

If that would be the case then why did they ask us to come with our int'l passport?

Many questions begging for answers but till then let's keep hope alive.

It cost us nothing to apply. Just go to their site and apply by next year. Application opened February this year till first week of April.

Yes , we will know our fate by August when the scholars for the scholarship would be announced. I am just not happy with the idea of going to Abuja again for the visa interview if we are chosen. I pray all of us here will be chosen. Amen

Good. This one na like first class. Assuming u had ur first degree in UK, u would have been awarded a first class. I would most likely be compensated.

Whenever i am asked my grade I always try to include that I came out with "a Painful 2'1" and I will always stress the "painful".

Just study well for the interview. I see u getting it. Will like apply next year for PhD if I don't get other scholarship.

Hello Guys. Below are some few advice from a friend in Turkey for the interview "Unfortunately i wasn't interviewed. But from experiences of those who have been there. you shouldn't expect questions base on theology (My department)
And when you're been ask political views basically pretend not to know what they saying.
They don't like people who seem eloquent or have activism stature
They would ask if you go to turkey, What are those things you dream to achieve.

Just tell them. You just want to focus on your field of studies and best you can be in it" that's the way he sent it
