Good Day All,

Please avoid ETIHAD /ABU DHABI poe, those CBP have time well well.

Flew Etihad Last week, was sent for secondary inspection only for me to meet a Nigerian Igbo Man (cant believe i forgot his name).

Kai! Stories like this just makes me palpitate cry

Was the Igbo man the CBP officer?

To God be ALL the Glory...My baby arrived 4th June.I used St Peters in NJ, good hospital I must say.
VD Bill was 7754, (baby-2136, mom 5618), docs fees was 3000.
Hospital accepts cash, cheque or card, no wire transfers.
She had a bit of jaundice on the high side, so was readmitted, waiting for the bill for that, Lord have mercy!
Just one bilirubin test cost me $180 and we had about 5 or more while on admission.

congrats

Hello house! First timer here. Pls I have a visa that expires on the 11th of september and I intend traveling on the 1st of September cos my due date is in November. I want to know if I have to apply for a visa renewal before I travel (that is before the expiration date of the visa) or I should apply for renewal  when I get to the US ( that is after the expiration of the visa)‎. Will I be allowed into the states with my almost expired visa wen my due date is in November? I need answers plsssssss

You dont have to renew your visa before travelling, you would be stamped in for 6 months regardless of when the visa will expire. You can however renew before travelling if you want to, but it is not illegal to travel on your present visa.

Congrats.
I'll suggest you fly arik; max 34 weeks to New York Poe. Philly Poe is a bit tricky. You can then take a shuttle to Philadelphia. It's about 50mins, and they'll drop you at you door and it's affordable too. That's what I did.
Hope it helps. My 2 kobo.

Thanks my sister. ..God bless you

EvaMD how far gone are you, please if you can try out the UK visa once more. You may just get it. Processing doesn't take as long as it used to from what I VC heard lately. Otherwise just chill n wait to have your lil one at the most convenient place for you.

Hi MadameU, am almost 30 weeks and seriously thinking about the timeline, if I can still apply and travel at about 34 weeks then ill go ahead, but if not then ill just jejely born my LO for here shikena.

thanks dear appreciated.

True. It is not illegal.
However we have has a momma here who was
Stamped in for just the validity of her visa. That's why the previous poster used the phrase 'to be on the safe side'

You are good. The Visa is for you to present yourself at the POE. The CBP officer there has the authority to stamp you in for how long they decide. So If you travel now, the CBP officer can stamp you in for 6 (six) months if they are okay with your intentions. So it does not matter if the visa is about to expire. Hope that helps.

They don't have a particular num of weeks. I travelled last year with them at 36+6days n was not asked for any fit to fly document. Check their site for any updates on pregnancy policies.

You don't have to renew before you travel. As long as you travel before it expires. You can travel with it even a day or 2 before expiry. As long as you get to the cbp bfor it expires.
