How can the "East and Midwest unite again" if they were never one in the first place? All of the Midwest used to be part of the Western Region (because they shared the same cultural and historical ancestry) until Ibo led Eastern politicians, eager to break the link between the Yorubas, Itshekiris, Edos etc insisted that a new Region be created. And that was what gave birth to the Midwest, which has now become Niger Delta/ South-South. That area has absolutely nothing in common with Eastern Nigeria.
