herrik066: Arik isn't bad. Its direct flight to NY and you just spend 10 - 11 hours on air. Don't expect too much especially as it concerns in-flight entertainment and menu by expect something. If you would need more of anything, ask them. For me, I am addicted to them to JFK because of their good price, short travel hours and u get to destination at cool time (usually early morning). There might be delay before departure, but pilot most time make it up by arrival at a time you are get to destination or a little above it. Your flight could be delayed for a day too if there is a serious mechanical fault beyond their control. All-in-all, they ain't bad. 3 Likes |

Just to correct some impressions here about needing an agent to do your baby's naija visa if you are in a hurry. Back then in 2013, before the loss of info and data in NL, people on this thread were not using agents. Follow the instructions as outlined, it's not difficult to do. 1. Start your application online at the NIS website: https://portal (dot)immigration(dot)gov(dot)ng/visa/freshVisa - register your account -enter your address, phone no -complete the application form with the baby's details -Print ur application- copy reference no and App ID -Proceed to check out -Proceed to payment -Select money order I attached the instructions for using money order but spambot got me yesterday. Lol 2. Buy USPS money order and send the money order no to Innovate by email; you can also call them 3. You will receive an acknowledgement and then you can use the money order no to complete your application. 16 Likes 2 Shares |

DIY Expedited Naija Visa II: Money order instructions: According to the website: 1. Note down the "Serial Number" (as shown by red circle in the sample image ) and provide that to us with other requested information after you hit the proceed button below. We’ll send you a confirmation email stating that your order number & tracking number is associated with a money order serial number. This email doesn’t mean that your application is paid yet. Mail the filled in Money Order via a traceable courier service (such as Fedex, UPS and DHL): Address is provided on the page at this stage 2. Once we receive your money order, we’ll confirm the receipt via another email to you stating that your payment has been received and you can proceed to submit your Visa/Passport application" Now, Mail your application: forms, you and your hubby's Naija passport data page, letter of consent, copy of flight itinerary or ticket as the case may be, money orders (for the expedited fee and additional separate $30 money order), then prepaid self-addressed express delivery envelope Note: I applied for my baby's on a Tues and got it back on Fri. Avoid the embassies where these agents work, cos your application will be under the pile. From reviews, use Washington DC and NY Times are hard, let's not waste money on what we can do ourselves. Note that weekends and holidays will increase processing times, even if you expedite the processing 19 Likes 4 Shares |

customised87: Your response makes it seem compulsory that she must be stamped in for 6months. Bt remember that even though lots of people have been stamped in for 6mnths, there are still quite a number who were stamped in for much less time. Some even gave their stories here and CBP was very aware they were pregnant. I think she should take her chances and apply for renewal. 7 Likes |

@herrik066 I travelled with arik to and fro my first missionary journey in 2014...34 weeks is high for them...my experience was an awful one as they refused to carry me unless I had a fit to fly from the port health so I missed the flight that day as well as the ticket fare..(note: I was actually 35 weeks and there are some details I can't mention here as this is a public forum). So if she must use arik she should travel earlier On coming back with the baby, I did call their customer care about bassinet n all but they just advised I get to the airport early...I did and was able to get an aisle seat... And then after much momma drama and talk they brought out the bassinets and I had one in front of me which I used. They didn't want to bring them out initially with the excuse that babies on board the plane were far more than the bassinets available. The crew were very friendly with me and helped me with baby when necessary and I even got to gist with the pilots...whenever I needed hot water for baby they provided...it was a comfortable journey for me bit then that was early 2014... |

Thank God with me o. My DH and I finally got our visas yesterday morning. I didn't really have enough time to prepare as I had so many things going on. However, God was faithful and He granted us favour. Will soon be back with our transcript. I would just like to add that for the budget sheet, you should include the total amounts available in all accounts (listed individually) and how much will be left. I think that was when the battle was won. 1 Like |

Hello all Got to dallas Wednesday @32 weeks & had my babies Thursday. Just had time to post my story here Saw a little sign of water lastweek Saturday morning in Nigeria, went go Havana. As usual, they wanTed me to stay behind to have my babies.the Dr said my water broke but luckily no contractions. Was put on drugs and antibiotics and my flight was rebooked for Monday morning. Was in the hospital from sat till Monday. My flight emirate was 2pm to dubai connecting 1hr to u.'s. The Dr in Havana said I shouldn't go that I wouldn't make it to the U.'S but something in me told me I have to be strong and I want to to save my babies life I need to move ASAP. Even though I was 31 weeks then,I wasn't ready to hear stories that touches the heart plus the fact that it's IVF babies. Unfortunately the hospital didn't want to release me,they didn't want to give me fit to fly and emirate had to shift my flight to Tuesday. As God would have it,I was using another hospital who scanned me all over again and it showed I was OK. The sac water wasn't broken and I wasn't dilating. The Dr certified me OK and was deem fit to fly to the u.s Fast forward flight was very smooth, was taking plenty water and fruits. Even though our connecting flight from dubai to u.s was full,God make sure I had 3 whole seats to myself. No contractions or pains at all. Arrived dallas fort Worth Wednesday morning. My entry was uneventful, just few questions from the cbp. Was called for secondary inspection that took like 30mins cos there was a queue. All the cbp asked was my hospital correspondence and receipt to show I already paid which I showed him and he allowed me go. Thank God for wheel chair,it was very useful. My host came to pick me at the airport&we went home. Thursday morning,no cramps and was still OK and was resting well. Thursday evening,I started feeling contractions, even though I tried seeing my Dr Wednesday but they said till Tuesday next week. By Thursday evening the contraction was something else,I was moved to Harris methodist hospital fort wort were I had initially paid, before I knew it Dr and nurses were all over me and I was told they were bringin them out Thursday night. Fast forward I had my babies (twin girls) to the glory of God but they are in NICU doing great. The first doesn't need oxygen while the second one just need a little to get better. So far so good they are doing well but am soooooo scared of how much they would collect for NICU for 2 babies&they said they might be there for 3-4 more weeks but in my mind am praying that they do soooo well and let us go on time. Am still in the hospital&as a FTM it's has been God's grace o. C.S it's not a joke but I must say they nurses here are very nice and warm. Been able to walk round the hospital ward and might be discharged in 2-3 days time but would be checking on the babies time to time Already they have started talking about medic-aid for the NICU which I have totally declined,I told theme no way.The medic aid lady told me,the bill might be easier pensive that I should take medic aid for NICU while I pay my bills and Dr fees. I said lialia ooooo. We are still on it sha but God has been faithful Any advice from mamas in the house,God bless u all 37 Likes |

@ amanda0,I used dr xydas. You do not have a choice but to use the hospital's pead group whilst you and ur baby are still in the hospital, dey wnt allow external pead to come and attend to the baby whilst u are still in d hospital. The hospitals pediatrician will just walk in to attend to the baby for d number of days u are dia or at least 4 2days.You will need to choose a pead after u av been discharged 4 a follow up 4 d baby. The pku is required to be done on d baby at birth den anoda one at 2weeks wch u can choose to do at the hospital lab or somwia else,d result will be sent to the pead u choose after u av been discharged. I hope I an answered your question. Pls note that u will be charged for some lab bills but d price isnt much. |

Try typing Atlanta hospitals in the search button you will see various hospital that has been discussed with prices I am in Atlanta and i intend using DeKalb medical center closer to where i stay. Wanted to Use Northside. If you will be staying with a relative ask which hospitals are closer. mummykoko: |
