The army always been displaying whatever weapons and ammunitions they recovered from Boko Haram.

But up till today more than 50 IPOB members were killed and nobody saw the "acclaimed" ammunitions that were recovered from the protesters, and yet NA keeps telling us "they were armed and they attacked us first"

Icecomrade:

I tried to make sense out of this public statement, but it seems empty and irrational.

I cant remember the last time I posted anything sympathetic over the death of any soldier, Most times I feel they deserve even more.

Its laughable how our leaders have always struggled to preserve the unity of this country with Gun and blood of the innocent.

Anyone with common sense will ask how sustainable this blood preserved unity will last.

I think unity should come out of willful submission and not coercion. That's the only way all stakeholders would enjoy it.

You have a point

Amnesty should stop crying wolf where there is none. They are IPOB terrorists and you can't expect the military to fold their hands and let them break down law and order. Nnamdi kanu their terror leader taught them to become rebels on his evil radio before been locked up like a church rat that he his sad Anyone calling for the break up of Nigeria deserves the bokoharam treatment. Bokoharam has flags, IPOB has flags. Their common objective is to establish a sovereign state out of Nigeria which will never happen. Lord luggard saw the strength in our diversity before handing over power to the north. This is why the easterners are angry and will not subject themselves to northern oligarchs but unfortunately ojukwu later realized igbos progress is in Nigeria and can only be attained by co-operation with the west and north. If the igbos are ready to denounce biafra we will gladly vote in an igbo president. Biafra will never come in Jesus name. Amen sad

A nairaland member lost her sister in that peaceful protest...Its best you stop being a sadist & accept the fact that a particular group of people have every right to disintegrate from a nation of no benefit to them

How peaceful where they when records have it that they were molesting & beating up innocent people!? My friend was a seriously beaten up by this ipob/massob guys. If they want to protest anything, let them do it legally and not subject innocent ppl to unnecessarily bad experiences.

its not just about the onitcha incident alone, NA has a history of extra judicial killings. remember the zaria masacare ? remember the protesters killed in aba?? remember odi masacare

Wow never knew 'irunooboo' (pvssy hair) could be so articulate in her response, judging from the meaning of her moniker, one would think her sense of reasoning only comes alive on sexual threads. Anyways, kudos and nice write up.
