Fellow Nigerians, let me say categorically and emphatically that our dear beloved country is dangerously haemorrhaging again and this perfidious drift must be halted urgently before we all end up in perdition. Anyone telling President Muhammadu Buhari that all is well or that his government is moving in the right direction is either lying or pretending like a rattlesnake. And there are many scorpions around ready to mislead every government and move on effortlessly when things fall apart. For sure President Buhari possesses the ability to move this country in the right direction and lead us to where we want to be but right now it is not happening and the soul of the people palpitates! I’ve been on several television and radio interviews in the past one week and the commonest question is on the performance of our President. The general perception is that the change mantra seems not to be working and the world is worried because of the importance of Nigeria in the comity of nations. http://www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2016/06/11/before-they-mislead-president-buhari/ 44 Likes 8 Shares

Mr Momodu, you don't have to look too far. The people misleading and corrupting the president are your brothers and sisters. Your people are a lying, selfish, greedy lot, who hate Nigeria more than anything in the world. Until they stop all this their selfish deceit, and truly embrace the country, nothing can be done. Buhari has already failed, we are only waiting for Nature and socio-economic revolution to make the correction 226 Likes 22 Shares |

Are some of these harsh comments from some Nairalanders concluding Buhari as a failure just after spending 25% of his tenure bore out of frustration? Sentiments and tribalism alone are not enough reason why these folks are subjected to the level of mental torture they experience at the mention of anything concerning Buhari 42 Likes 7 Shares |

The truth is dat PMB isn't approaching the issue of governance well.he disregards the multi ethnic nature of dis nation in his style of governance, appears bigoted and nepotistic with little tolerance for opposition,EFCC suddenly is a tool for oppression, using d Nigerian Army to commit genocidal acts against other grieving tribes but look d other way wen it's fulani herdsmen, policy summersaults, poor handling of economy.today he's castigating public officers who seek treatment for cancer abroad and tomorrow he's treating ordinary ear infection abroad too.see let's just call a spade what it is and stop massaging the guys oversized ego with stupid sycophancy, he is arguably the worst president we have had d misfortune of having. 235 Likes 35 Shares |

1. Once it was impossible to generalise the war against corruption to engulf all politicians tainted with corruption no matter their affiliation the government should have requested for a blanket return of government booty via negotiation with all public office holders. Those who failed to take up this generous offer of recovery could then be visited with the might and power of retributive justice. An example of when this great opportunity was missed was when government unreasonably told Nigerians they could no longer pay foreign currencies in cash into their accounts. Perhaps government in its naivety did not remember that politicians had prosecuted the last election through the almighty dollar because it reduced the bulkiness of gratifications. Government should have patiently waited for the dollars to come in, whether in cash or not, before pouncing on the owners. Once that opportunity was missed, the next was to discreetly stretch its tentacles across the world in search of thieves and money launderers. Assets at home and abroad should have been quietly traced for possible confiscation. 2. This could have been done without all the present grandstanding and hullabaloo. 3. Also, the moment our President chose a military style of operation he should have known that corruption would fight back with ferocity and velocity. 4. The militarisation of Nigeria has become very suffocating. Shiites are being killed in droves in the North West. Mass graves have been identified and uncovered. The Biafra agitators are being massacred in broad-day light and its leaders detained indefinitely. Boko Haram remains a monumental menace to society despite the extra- ordinary efforts of our military and Intelligence agencies. The Fulani and or Libyan herdsmen have added to the conundrum out of the blues. Different militant groups are now armed to the teeth. Trust me these guys don’t look like they are joking. Nobody fights on as many fronts as this government now seems to be fighting without risking it all. My simple solution, Nigeria must return to and embrace and practise true Federalism. Not doing so is like pushing our luck too far and postponing doomsday. What is of utmost importance in calling for a political configuration that will meet the yearnings of our people is the state of the economy. 5. My submission is that the economy will never recover in an atmosphere of tension, uncertainty and panic. The Federal Government needs to tone down the negative rhetoric about our country. That unfortunate moniker of a corrupt nation that has been hung round our necks is dragging us down and denying Nigeria the investment in its future that it requires. Our President must make it clear that he is not the only saint in Nigeria but that the majority of Nigerians are saints and he is the leader who epitomises that. This is why he was chosen by the majority of good and well- meaning Nigerians who want someone that would demonstrate to the world that the generality of Nigerians are decent, hardworking and honest and that it is a small minority of Nigerians that are crooks. 6. We must begin to walk away from our ugly past and work assiduously for a beautiful future. Every nation has lived through its terrible moments but none ever cuddled the past forever as we now seem to be doing. Nigeria is richly blessed with human and natural resources. There is always a new dawn tomorrow and we must get ready for it, embrace it and by so doing seize the initiative. I hope the President listens.... 59 Likes 7 Shares |

[[s] dadebayo1: iflywithbuhari:[/s] "Propaganda and Epic", one of the only English words known by the wailing Ekpas which have been over used that sometimes they don't even know when it fits Back to the matter, we have been complaining of crude price being low, then it starts rising, Nigeria can not meet up with its daily output as a result of activities of some terrorists. You guys can cry all you want, i have said it before, the worst than can happen is APC loose in 2019 like Jonathan, that does not stop those in power from having 24 hrs light, or sending their kids abroad, they have stolen money for their unborn generations. The President came into office without an adequate action plan. This glaring deficiency would have been obviated if he chose his team carefully, but he didn't. His actions so far have been shots in the dark. Everyone loves the fight against corruption but the troubles besetting this nation are more than corruption. The warped belief that an end to corruption is the magic dose that would heal all the challenges ailing this nation led us to this pitiable state. There is no one size fits it all solution to our problems. People who are close to the President must start ringing the alarm bell before it is too late. One only hopes he will hearken to the voice of reason. 35 Likes 11 Shares |

Dele Momodu likes to talk from all sides of his mouth. You spend time composing an epistle as long as river Nile and then fill it with half truths and over generalizations. For your information sir, the WHOLE country never accepted Jonathan's defeat in good fate. If they did can you explain the sudden agitations from the SE region that has plagued the government since May 29 2015? Am quite sure you are aware that recent militant activities are an offshoot of those same agitations but you won't say so. The government has made meaningful progress in keeping to it's mandate. It has beefed up security (applicants no longer pay to apply for government vacancies) and also commenced implementation of it's social intervention programs. What I expect you to do is write an even longer epistle asking all those who have stolen and stashed our foreign exchange in their bedrooms and faraway lands and banks to return the money. Tell those who are painful losers to accept defeat magnanimously and pray for Nigeria's progress and stop being a peddler of lies and bad omen. 40 Likes 5 Shares |

nobody realize the wars buhari waged in one year are wars the North has been planning to wage since they left office in 2009. Shittes Movement Has Been Going On For A Long Time Before Jonathan Tenure. Biafra Movement Obviously Was Born Since 40"+ Years Ago. All These War Could Have Been Avoided And Postponed but illiteracy and hate is a disease. TODAY WHEN U HEAR MISSLE, U THINK OF IRAN. WHEN U HEAR SECESSION U THINK OF IPOB 23 Likes |

... Every discerning minds know that things are not going on well with our country. Our economy is in shambles, our security is at its lowest ebb in a decade, patriotism is dying, power supply has reduced to its lowest level, prices of basic food and shelter have astronomically gone high. But the solution is not far off. We need a true fiscal federalism. That is the solution to Nigerian problems. 9 Likes |

It is common knowledge among Nigerians that love truth that Buhari knows nothing about governance. Our problem is not Buhari's lack of ideas in modern governance, but people like Dele Momodu who mislead the President into thinking he is such a good and incorruptible leader and we are fortunate to have him as our President. His only problem being those 'bad' people around him that 'mislead' him. Buhari will never realise the ruin he has effected on this country as long we are too scared stiff to speak truth to him. He has failed and is failing. There is no need grasping any straw(real or imagined). The APC if they were a party of truth, should begin to advise the man to mend his ways or prepare to vacate office for his vice to try his luck. 180 million lives are at stake here and cannot be sacrificed for the interest of a 73 year old who is on the departure lounge of life. Our lives are just beginning; the sun is setting on his. He might outlive some of us, but that does not remove the fact that he has had his time in d sun. He should let us have ours. We require a prosperous country under good and competent leadership to blossom. This is a wake up call to the youths of our country. Partisanship, ethnicity or religion will not put food on your table. Good governance will. 62 Likes 5 Shares |
