I wonder why Nigerian military is highly politicized. Military is suppose to be on their own without meddling into politics. |

obailala: Instead of this rumours and innuendos, why dont they just publish the names of the retired personnel, ....and let the public make their own judgement? Below is the rubbish that the useless online Trent published, without any supporting FACTS! There are indications on Friday, June 11, 2016 that about 200 military officers may have been sacked by the federal government through text messages (SMS) over their alleged loyalty to former President Goodluck Jonathan during the 2015 general elections. See the rubbish? Why should soldiers even involve themselves in "SUPPORTING ONE PARTY/CANDIDATE" over another, in an ELECTION? Lastpage! 6 Likes |

lonelydora: Dont wonder at all! It really started with Babangida (as in on a large scale, during the era of "settlement" ).... but Jonathan Badluck took it to another unheard-of level, when he used Soldiers to openly rig Ekiti Elections and Military Generals were looting money meant to buy weapons, when the country was facing a major insurgency! Soldiers were even disobeying their Generals, mutiny was done openly and some Commanders were kidnapped by their rank-and-file ?. That was a disgrace to the Nigerian Military, were "discipline" should be top-notch Lastpage 6 Likes |

that is what they know how to do best! brazenly sack people from a particular region and replace them with their people. that is what they have been doing since 1900s, when by any chance they find themselves in govt. very nepotistic lot i tell u. there is nothing like equity and impartiality in their dictionary. later they will shout one nigeria and tell you only their people are competent. one good advice to these people and their cohort is that nothing be it kingdoms, crude oil prices, beauty of a woman, the handsomeness of men such as Ali the greatest (whom the world is still mourning) and what have u last forever. so you had better halt this your demonised deceptive nationality and patriotism that is veiled hidden beneath it all the ills such as oppression and dirty supremacist habits known to man. it has never worked and will only lead to certain tragic path "destruction". NB: i do not in anyway support the looting of these officers. corruption that these guys orchestrated during their time must be condemned by all. 1 Like |

iflywithbuhari: Buhari has NOT failed after just 1 year compared to a party that FAILED in sixteen years or a President who failed in six. As for coup, who would have planned the coup?. It is only majority of Nigerians that can throw Buhari out and as for now they say they want him. |

lastpage:So you don't support the army looting money during the insurgency, what about those who looted when there was no insurgency when GEJ was not president. It is wrong to expect thieves to become saint just because there is a crisis. Looting has been part of the army for a long time, what we are experiencing now is just the consequence. |

NATIONALPASTOR: May God punish that bigot that calls himself president buhari. He is tearing the seams that holds us as a nation. May he never experience peace as he has declared his intention to make the South East and South South perpetually subjugated to the North. May his regime become a reference for failed leadership . They are scared of releasing the list because they are scared of the public outcry !!!! |

even if the whole ss/se senior millitary officers are forcefully retired coz of the fear of coup & the support for the agitation course, there is no going back on secession coz we the ss/se no longer interested in this unholy union called Nigeria. The country called Nigeria expired 2014 & its left for the government to succumb or face a more advance force from what was witnessed during the civil war. is it by force to be together with ppl tht doesnt share same language, culture, religion & ethnic background with us. No unholy marriage ever succeed coz the north has ruled Nigeria for over 40 yrs & there is notn tangible to show for their rule but all we've seeen in them are evil payback & their ass lickers just keep mute coz they are scared of Lagos loosing its economic strenght from mass exodus. |
