Fashola is not the problem of Nigerian power failings. The bitter truth which must be told is that just like everything else that has gone wrong with our nation due lack of management and investment in existing infrastructures, the power sector suffers from the same problem.
Successive government have bundled and fumbled with it until just like the petroleum sector it is now a monster any new government wants to run away from.
If all the monies we have read and heard about these past years have really been invested in power generation maybe it wont be as terrible as it is today.
The day we fix power in Nigeria (hopefully in my lifetime) then our nation has indeed turn the curve. We have sunshine and water and there is gas yet we cannot do it (smh) we really are a unique people.

that is not true. Egbin Power generates over 60% (around 4500MW, generating around 2000MW presently) of Nigerian's electricity and it uses gas.
all our Dam stataions Kanji and co generates less than 2,000 Mw combined together.. and HEPs uses dams wats the "and" for ?
Although our power problems started way before they started destroying the pipelines

My landlord called last week that Disco/Raggae is coming to disconnect my line, I told my landlord to advice them to disconnect my line, unscrew my electric meter and go with the meter. I am not paying a kobo until the bastards give me pre-paid meter. If they give me pre-paid meter, then I will not complain whether they are distributing darkness or sickness, because I will know that no light, no payment. Until then, no money for them, I cannot be paying for darkness. As for Fashola, the thunder that will strike him has travelled with Buhari to London to get more powers from the white witches.

Shouldn't we first ask who the proprietors of these DISCOS are? GEJ privatized these companies and many of them have not invested much in distribution facilities. The people who bought these co.panies have just turned them into ATMs to collect money from poor citizens

There's also the case that these discos are rejecting supplies from TRANSCOS. The result is that they still billing the customers for the little power they supply while they are paying the transcos less since they are not taking much supply.

It's the Niger Delta Avengers that are to blame and not Fashola.

As long as they keep blowing up gas pipelines conveying gas to the power plants, darkness will plague the land.
