My experience so far
I never knew I would go far in this process cause of fund, but I was able to continue with word of encouragement from the likes of faithdamsel and egbeman, I traveled to Abuja for my authentication, I spent roughly 18k for that, though all money spent has been from my allawee, cause am a serving corper, I got my translated document from miss folarin and I proceeded for legalization after pay 110k to the bank (trust me, I almost die cause that was all my savings), I did pre enrollment the following week borrowing 13k from my fellow corper. I have book date for my visa application but yet to get a sponsor but God will do it.... Experience so far

All will be well and I believe God will do it. I had to quit even though it has been my dream to study in italy.

The new rule now at the Italian embassy is you can't travel or get study visa with out ur DOV. So is not a matter of applying for visa, but is a matter of getting our DOV on time. Nevertheless, if ur DOV is ready atleast u hv 85% of getting ur visa, then if urs is not ready yet plz let's pray about it coz is the foundation of our traveling, thanks and share ur experience so far. @chibsyellow I doubt if anyone will get his/her DOV till December, cause some are just even legalizing their document and it takes 3month as assume but we all know that a lie cause it will take more than that

@Chibsyellow, please how did you know about the new rule, my sister called the embassy and they asked her to come and submit when she is ready.

I remember when I went for pre enrollment, I met a guy who told me he did legalisation since October last year and yet to get DOV as per may oooo.... So let just watch and see aha

My cousin told me that people that came to Italy last year got their DOV after arriving at Italy, so unless the rule has just changed I will not advise anyone to wait for the DOV before approaching embassy for visa application.

Yes people traveled without their DOV last year, but quote me" without ur DOV u can't travel", is a new rule at the embassy. If not that my school (imsu) is on strike I would hv gotton mine since, coz the person I did with the same day has gotton his. @bamyet 08170243818 my whatsapp number.

Please I have a little financial challenge. I don't have money for legalization now till month ending. Can I pre-enrol before I legalize. Please I need this urgent answers. Did anyone pre-enrol before he/she legalize?

Is it ur sch dat will issue u DOV? It is issued by d embassy dats y u submitted for legalisation.

Bros, I don't wanna dispute your claim, but next time kindly provide a link from the website of the embassy before beating your chest about the said rules.

I got my dov after my first semester in Italy. It was even my school that was begging the embassy to send it. I don't think the rules will change now. When you finish your pre-enrolment, kindly go ahead and book your visa application. My 2cent.

Like I said earlier bros, I wasn't disputing your claim, I just thought you should provide us a proof and nothing more. You been right doesn't add money to my account nor does it increase the price of garri.

My sponsor account was 5.2 M then. But the amount needed depends on whether you are going for masters or bachelor.

While many here have been saying pre-enrollment can be done without legalisation. Many opposite stories here
