some of us asked questions like that on the WhatsApp group and this was what the NDA OFFICER answered
[ The most important of all the medical tests is the ECG
[ Electrocadiogram
[Where ur heart rate in connection to ur breathing is tested
[When they do this....don't breath fast and don't be anxious or ur test might come out bad
Me I'm telling u that if he has a medical condition...burutai won't say yes
[ No senior officer would recommend a “sick” applicant
[Ones they drop u for medicals, that's all
[ Then they strip u naked, check if ur balls r complete
[ Check for decay in ur teeth
[Ask you to spread ur legs
[ And spread ur ass hole and ask u to cough
[Take ur blood sample..
Check ur blood pressure
Check ur BMI...ur body mass in relation to your weight
Then the eye test
[Flat foot
[Yeah..they check for tattoos and scars
[Operation scars

pls I don't understand what you mean by "Flat foot" can u explain more to me? Tnx.

Flat foot means an unspace between the inner side of your foot and the floor or when your foot is flat without any curve under it and at such there won't be space under your feet when at attention grin grin grin

As I told those on the WhatsApp group, the officer in the NDA said the shortlist will soon be out and that this year people who applied for DSSC have more advantage because there aren't many this year. He said that the Nigerian Army cannot compromise unhealthy and weak people, that you must make the 3.2km race in 18m. The man is in group so you can ask him anything that bothers you

bro, not only poundsmaker is absent here, there are many other experienced people that are as well silent here just because of people that are not ready to learn; and some other sets with childish questions and answers. Some people do not even know anything, yet they belief they know all... Some sets of people even find it difficult to read some pages they missed before asking already answered question. I could remember one learner here that called me 419 because of the info I disclosed.. Honestly, I just discover that " ti Eeya ba pe Lori igbe, eesin keesin maa nba Eeya ni be ni. If one stays long while defecating, some disgusting house flies will meet you there. I wish everyone best

lets pray we Nairalanders are successful oooh...I just hope we all skip the medicals cos as i heard,na their trouble dey start...Dey even check if your heartbeat is proportional to your breath and if you weight is proportional to height. Its not a funny scenario at all oooh. I implore every heavy smoker or drinker to stop such attitude from now incase you get lucky for screening, also any minor medical condition should be treated immediately say fever, malaria and if you are on medications i strongly implore you to abstain away from it days to the screening so it doesnt leave a trace in your urine or blood. I believe we will all conquer. Victoria Acerta

This year's list will not be coming out anytime soon because NDA selection board is still on going, remember SSC screening will be done in NDA old site whr its currently in use. So we shld expect list to come out late July.

Hello my potential officers! please can someone shine more light on the issue of LETTER OF ATTESTATION FROM FORMER INSTITUTIONS, your contributions will highly appreciated.. thanks

First of All, whoever tells you the issue of Letter of attestation from former institution is not taken seriously is only Assuming! Discipline is the core, you don't assume in the Army.

The Instruction is
"e.    Candidates must submit a letter of Attestation from their former institutions.",
in my opinion, for SSC/DSSC u get from the institution u got your degree bt if Recruit u get from d school you got your WAEC.

If you are a graduate, then you must have defended a project under your department, supervised and approved by your HOD. So therefore, all you have to do is go back to your department, write an application for letter of attestation addressed to your HOD and wait for his approval.

He'll confirm through the exam officer if you have been cleared with a clean slate, he may still need to see you one on one to assess you.

Mine even called a General and forwarded my info immediately to assist me in getting in and wrote d Letter of Attestation, asked the typist to type it in a letter headed paper, coloured printed, signed and stamped.

But of course, that wasn't because I was a first class, a 2.1 or a 2.2 student but simply just a good manner of approach gave him the impression that I must be a calm person who respected constituted authority while in school.

Explain yourself properly to your HOD, and you will get an Attestation letter wether from UNILLORIN or any oda school for that matter provided you are not a terrorist while in school and that's what the Army is trying to get out of you.

Hope dis helps nd gudluck!
