Heavy Tension In Niger Delta As Militants Split by Nobody: 9:35pm On Jun 12, 2016
There is a split in decision making among Niger Delta militants as they are at loggerheads over the desire to negotiate and dialogue with the federal government. The militants have split as some groups are in support of the dialogue, while others have dismissed the negotiations. The Niger Delta Avengers last Wednesday, through its twitter account , said it was not in support of dialogue and as such will not participate in negotiations with the federal government. Its tweet read: “This is to inform the general public that we are not negotiating with any committee. If the Federal Government is discussing with any group, they are doing that on their own.” However, in an opposite move, the Joint Revolutionary Council, JRC, of the Joint Niger Delta Liberation Front, JNDLF, said that militants will negotiate with government. The group said: “We shall continue to engage in dialogue with the Federal Government if our demands are met. “Our representatives in the dialogue, especially the governors and others, will not betray our demands with the Federal Government. Any betrayal on their own part shall be viewed as betrayal of the entire region and we shall go after them immediately as they know our mode of operation in which they will not escape from us.” It remains to be seen how this split in decision making will affect the activities of the respective groups in the Niger Delta region.

I don't see any division here. Any millitant group that has not bomb any oil installations is not recognized. We are aware of the handwork of the niger delta Avengers. So until they say they want to negotiate then we know that peace in sight. For now I see this story as a ploy to weaken their resolve. If they fall for it goodluck.

Just as in every other situations, the real fighters are the bombers of the pipelines and wells while the criminal elements wants to ride on their back to wealth.

Unluckily for them, Buhari is not the type that will pump the money.

I laugh avengers laugh. They will live to regret their actions. The worst enemy to have is your environment. I encourage them to continue the bombing. When all oil lines are finished they should turn to water pipe line. In fact set the entire government infrastructure ablaze to get at Buhari "the fulani terrorist". I only pity the innocent Niger Deltans.

We are undeterred and can never stop bombing. There is nothing like JNDLF. It is an online group created by the Govt to distract us but we are ten miles ahead already. As for those rejoicing and masturbating over this news, just sit back and watch as things unfolds. As Murdoch stated, it is 100% resource control or no deal. I urge all Niger Deltans not to relent cos we are here to right the wrongs of the past. God bless Niger Delta Republic.

Ride on. Continue to destroy your region and continue to pollute the already polluted environment. A word is enough for the wise.
