My car Lexus gx470 was broken into, the Ecu (brain box) was taken and power window
And I was not around when this thing happened, I just want to know how to go about the
Brain box, how much it cost, do I need to reprogram , the cost, and the cost of power windows
The back glass was smashed too, I'll like to know cost. thanks all

Subsequently, visit the "Brain box/ECU" category under the 'browse categories' column and click on Engine Brain box/ECU

All the suppliers of Engine Brain box for Lexus GX470 (Year) registered with us would be displayed.

You can then click on the contact information of any of the suppliers of your choice to get the price.

Currently, there are 3 suppliers in Ladipo that have the brain box on our site.

Unfortunately, the Power window switch is not yet populated on the site.

GX470 vandalisation is the in thing in town. Didnt know the reason until i was informed that the parts removed is extremely expensive. Please budget as much as N200k to put that car back in order.

The price of the ECU will depend on whether you want a new one or a used one

A good "Belgium" one will cost u about 65-85k depending on your location...it will still be reprogrammed...Brand new one (Brisco)...will cost plenty money ooo

1. Copy out your VIN -

2. Check up the matching brain Box part number on - www.toyodiy.com - I can be of help no cost

3. Go to Ladipo (that is if you are in Lagos) and buy the matching brain box. www.toyodiy.com will confirm the matching part numbers

4. Fix the window - negotiate well with the seller, ensure you buy right thickness DOT...

5. Also buy the window buttons - Ensure it is not sprayed

6. Get one of the Ladipo boys to go with you for the programming (5k insist)

7. After fixing it, pin the brain box to the metallic part of the car ( ladipo boys call it rebit N500), remove the label

8. Install alarm

9. I remove my buttons every night

10. Tokunbos will do

11. Don't contract anyone. If you do it would be expensive.

12. Be mindful where you park your car, going forward.
