She n her parents are us citizens and they both sent me an IV separately which am to present to the embassy as an intent to visit the us. Is it necessary for them to send the embassy copies too? If yes,does it increase my chances of getting a visa to attend the wedding?

If this situation happened when you were a child, you should talk to your parents first to see what happened, as you may not remember clearly. If you would like to apply for an NIV, you're always welcome. But ensure that you can explain your family's history to the officer.

In your experience has anyone ever been granted a visa after deportation? If a child was taken to the US with their parents, parents applied for asylum but got denied, and order deportation after living there for years. I have no intention of moving to the US but would like to go back and visit.

It sounds as if you are committing visa fraud, as there is no visa category for aunts and uncles to petition for their nieces or nephews. Again, we cannot and will not give the odds of getting a visa. If you have an immigration visa pending, you should be able to discuss that with the officer at the time of the interview.

Good question. We will not require for you to renew your passport, as long as the passport is still valid. Here is the link for reciprocity between our two countries. https://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/fees/reciprocity-by-country/NI.html

It may be easier for you, however, to renew your passport before your trip.

This is a myth that we would really like to address. Visas are approved every day for people who have never traveled outside of the country. Some people believe that you must have a passport that has visas and stamps in it. This, however, is simply not the case. If someone is trying to convince you to "de-virgin" your passport, please do not do this, as it can permanently damage your credibility, result in a lifetime ban from entering the U.S. or even get you arrested.

At the point of entry I was really delayed despite that i told the immigration officer i will like to av my baby and i showed him evidence that i will be able to pay my bills, d hospital and d Dr i will use. They later allowed us to enter US but this was written on our Visa (]no extension of stay and no adjestments of stay). we are ask to spend 2weeks. But due to my health condition and d stress I could not travel back after 2 weeks, I waited to av my baby and pay all my bills. So I spent exactly, 4 months before coming back to nigeria. To my greatest suprise, I received a call from d US embassy March 2016, they ask if am back to Nigeria, and I said yes. Just want to know what I can do if I want to revisit the US or does it means av been banned for life. Attached is a copy of how it was written on my visa.thxs for ur quick responses.

It is very clear that you did not use your visa properly. Customs and Border Protection permitted you to stay in the U.S. for 2 weeks and you stayed for 4 months, which means that you stayed overstayed your visa for 3.5 months. Applicants who have lifetime bans are informed in person and in writing.

Do I need to fill form I-134 since i am not residing in the US nor a US Citizen?

Sorry that we missed your question the first time. That's a good question. We encourage you to sit with your mom to complete the form together, as the application is a statement regarding her background, so applicants should always strive to complete it truthfully and completely. For the elderly, the application may be confusing and long, so it would be a help to her. There is a section at the end that asks who helped with the form, so ensure that you complete that section.

We hope that you adjusted your status from a tourist to student through USCIS during your stay. If not, that means that you were attending school as a tourist, which is an inappropriate use of your visa. Thank visa officer you are doing a nice job here, read through the thread so that i will not be asking the same question. My question is this
1. My wife and I our planning to go on vacation to the US by October we have been married for 6 years now(no children yet we are still trying) we both live and work in Nigeria.she has a dual citizenship she British by (birth) and Nigerian by(ancenstory),so she has both British and Nigerian passport, both passport carries her maiden. The British passport was issued last 2 years in her maiden name because it was stolen before we got married and the lawyer advice her to use her maiden name to get a new one which she did and she has since travel with it and back to Nigeria since then. Now that we plan on going together on vacation to the US on a tourist visa won't there a problem with the name since the name on her passport both Nigeria and British carries her maiden name and not her marital name i.e. my family name

2. I know as a British citizen she can apply for ESTA online. So what do you advice that she apply for ESTA online or we both apply for a tourist visa together at the embassy since we are going together
