Telecoms is a capital intensive industry and only thrives under a robust capital market and banking sector. the recent mishaps (TSA, crash in the precious metal markets, loss of return on investment in oil, zero FDI, the -0.36% GDP growth etc). These have forced banks to hike lending rates and to impose stiffer lending requirements on creditors. this has caused allied industries ( like Construction, telecoms, oil firms etc) to reassess their labour requirements. This in my opinion is the reason why not just us but many graduates are being kept on hold in different recruitment processess across the country

I still get hope small, although I have kinda moved on but I still have faith that something good would happen.. I just feel this experience would make me appreciate the job more when I eventually get it, It's crazy tho but it's all good!!

Do you think you deserve to know why you have to wait for so long? lets stop being a generation of complainants do something or at least try go to http://etisalat.com.ng/whistle-blower/ make your complain official if everyone using this thread makes a polite and sincere complain on the same issue maybe someone in authority will hear and if there is something that can be done it will be done. I was reliably told that training is still on the question I asked is whom are they training when the guys that did medicals last have not been called.(the process is still on but transparency is long gone) inconsistencies like this one is what sparks conspiracy theories so for me I believe something fishy is going on. So guys I'm setting the ball rolling please don't use the email or contact address you used to apply for the job in any case use a valid email address and phone number in case they have to reach us back. At this point got nothing to lose trying can help uncover things if any. Remember we must not work for etisalat to stay alive but we can prevent others from getting same treatment. I'm sure Etisalat is bigger than this rubbish could be some greedy staff trying to play a fast one. NOTE this is entirely my opinion You must not agree.

He confided in me that he never filled the form online, he was never called on phone(phone interview), he never sat for the online test(PPA), he never did CBT, and he never attended buddy. Though he refused to disclose his connection.
#I dey suspect one etisalat Oga for my church......though he denied!
