Yes and a roundabout way of telling you you are neglecting your duties offline too grin cheesy grin

Dropping the clothes on the machine isn't doing the laundry. Someone still has to run it. That's doing the laundry.

Yinmu tongue

The machine is a great help. Dump your clothes there, add water and soap, leave it to run while you do other things , rinse, and spread. Don't come and kill another man's pikin with work. Some men employ the services of drycleaners though, especially for special clothes like suits and all, so just some play clothes remains for the wife to wash.

I will do it for my daughter too, it's the right thing to do, my son's wife is like my daughter, I should cook for her and my son, help in the kitchen, it's th proper thing.
no one is saying your mother-in-law can't help if she wants to but not that you make it mandatory on her even if she wants to help at least you should be modest enough not to let her do it. You said your daughter-in-law is like your daughter so that means as old as you are now your mom still cook for you, do your laundry and other things? , I don't think your husband will sit down and watch his mother going on and forth to the kitchen and round the house doing chores.... I don't even know what is wrong our ladies nowadays o the kind of orientation some of them have before going to their matrimonial home may God help us

Women should just stay at home and do housewifery until the kids come of age abeg. The work no bi here ooo.
I ain't doing it sha, but if you can good luck.
Lezzlie:
A man can wash his own clothes of course. But a woman stands to gain more when she does. Same as cooking and serving his meals.
What the heck you think the fücking of domestic help from husbands recently is for?
I have a cute ass who fixes me breakfast, lunch and dinner and take care of my laundry...... Damn, it will take divine intervention if I don't give her an appreciation of a sound fück.
Once the said maid becomes wife the circle continues, hey, a maid is a maid and a wife is a wife.
A wife is a partner not a fvcking maid.

Of course I'll get you a washing machine that can do warm wash and cold wash too. And I always, out of habit, take my traditional apparels and suits to the dry cleaners.

But my briefs and singlets and casual/house wears can be handled by me in circumstances that leave me no option, otherwise it should be routinely by you either directly or in a delegatory manner.

I agree with this part.

A wife is a partner not a fvcking maid.

The modern wife has erroneously thought that by delegating all her duties to a maid except the bedroom, she'll come out fulfiled.

Alas, when the maid takes care of the man's everyday needs and laundry with those youthful breasts often without a bra.......you can actually see those bra-less-unrestrained breasts dancing in a rhythmic accord as she bends to drop your meal on the table cool,

or you demand for a cold water and she dashes off from the bathroom in earnest to serve you with just a towel about her waist and her towel gets trapped in her ass divider, leaving a well demarcated booty in a gentle vibration as she walks away......

Sometimes, you just got to pull her back, finger- losen the towel and appreciate her with a sound impromptu fück.
It's a hard life being a man grin grin grin

According to Nairaland's standard, cooking is a woman's job so washing his clothes should be his responsibility.

But if your man doesn't mind sharing domestic chores, well you won't have a problem doing his laundry.

Same way women eye their horsebands apprentices and employees.
You know ....those youthful, six pack testosterone succulent boys with unwrinkled rod, the kind of guys that goes about their domestic assigned chores shirtless, with a visible raging 10 inches hard-on clad on a banana boxers.
You just have to show a littlle of your pantless honeypot for a glorifying quickie in a dark corner.

I want to know if it's a man's right to have his clothes washed by his wife.

Look at it this way. It's not so much a question of his vs. hers but being economical with your power usage.

Colour sort the clothes and throw them into the washing machine. Relax with a steaming cup of Twinnings Tea while your washing machine does all the hard work without complaining.

Once done take them out and throw into the condenser (tumble dryer) and go sit back and relax with another steaming cup of Tea (Earl Greys) as you watch the latest African Magic movie.

Dirty dishes in your kitchen? Dump them into the dish washer. Then go continue from where you left off on African Magic.

See life doesn't have to be that hard.

Housemaid? What housemaid? cheesy

Washing hubby's clothes is now slavery? Washing machine abounds, they can procure one.

You women are too quick to liken any form of domestic work as slavery.
You know she asked a salient question... I personally feel it isn't her duty, but by obligation she should do it. I see nothing wrong in washing hubby's cloth but it isn't her duty because as she pointed out, he was washing before they got married.

Some questions are just ridiculous, what does it really take to toss his clothes into a washing machine with yours? What will it take him to toss yours and his or just his into a washing machine? Couples serve each other, it's not a man or woman thing . People do these things out of love, it doesn't kill anyone. As long as no one is forcing you to, some things are just the right thing to do depending on circumstances.
What of those who can't afford washing machines or folks like me who prefer handwashing?

nope. I never commented in dt fashion.

A home is a habitation of love. Where there is love, there is no law. Dos and donts are commonplace and draw alot of attention where love isnt supreme. If she is busy, why cant d man wash their clothes, or cook? Its nobodys job. Its up to both parties to do whats necessary to keep d right atmosphere in d home. My wife washes my clothes. But i do them when i can or when she is busy. We both do what we have to, period.
Okay, nice perspective.

By this question, family can break. It will either make the man sit up and understand that the wife is not a slave or house maid or make the woman to assume a position she doesn't have.

For me:
I wash my wife's cloths more than she washes mine. She washes mine also. It it not the duty of any one to be washing clothes for another. Everything should be done in love and understanding.

My wife didn't get a job after 1 and 5 months years of marriage, she washes more of the baby's cloths and during the weekend i wash ours. Men have to understand that there is a lot of work women perform at home that are hard work that men are yet to understand.

Personally i use to think what do women even do at home, i thought it was telemondo, African magic etc until i had a leave from work. I couldn't wait for my leave to be over, the house chores was too much for 2 people not to talk of 1 person. After that month i bought washing machine and other things to make life easy.

My advice is, women should do it with love, though Africa has enslaved women mindset which is changing by the day. But men should learn to understand that women are not slaves to subject to certain hard work. If you want a house help go and get one, if not help in everything around the house including cooking, washing, feeding the baby, changing diapers, washing plates etc.

God bless you all
You are Great

Nope, it's not her duty, but it's more than an obligation for me. Most women who take that extra mile never misses the ting details of their husbands.

where a maid is around, she should take her time to outline the clothes and hand over to the maid.

Matter of fact, wives ensure the age and physical features of a prospective maid before bringing her aboard.

Briefs...you say... Well, in the kind of household I was raised in my mum didn't wash my dad's briefs. She washed his clothes when we were still very young until we were old enough to take over, but not once did she wash his briefs, even till date. He did them himself. I have never bothered asking why, maybe because I have always assumed it's an agreement between the both off them.

That's the mind set I have. I would NEVER ask my hubby to wash my undies, and I don't expect to wash his

Women who personally wash their husbands' briefs are more readily acceptable to the notion of dick-licking.

For those who are innately predispose, it heightens the desire.
