Please go ahead and complete the order. Remember NEVER YOU END A PROJECT YOURSELF, Let the buyer do the ending, so you can still get review.

Thanks, after the client accept and end the project to release the fund, it takes how many days or weeks for the money to reflect? you know fiverr takes 2 weeks? and how will I know when the fund is cleared?

The fund will be in review for I think 5 days. Then after it will move to pending clearance which will be released on the Wednesday of the new week. Once released, you will have it in Available section ready for withdrawal

You should be tired of yourself. Come to think of it, 60 connect used yet nothing. you should check your profile again and STREAMLINE YOUR SKILL TO ONE SKILL ONLY, THE ONE YOU ARE VERY GOOD.

ONCE YOU GAIN A GOOD PROFILE RATING, YOU CAN THEN ADD MORE SKILL.

Take it like a business. spend time to construct a well written proposal.

Don't just bid for any job. look at the hire rate of the client. if its below 70%, its a red flag. this will help protect u from wasting your connects.

I am currently on a job with a client in up work. 1000$ though paying in bits. once I finish a contract, he releases another milestone.

the plan is to get someone dat u will strick a long term deal.

But I'll advise you not to abandon Upwork. Trust me, there're numerous benefits to get.
In as much as you earn on Fiverr, it's equally good to develop a profile (your real one) on Upwork or Freelancer(I prefer Upwork ). This is because I know majority of us use US profiles on fiverr. But think of upwork as that you can use to build a real identity. Besides, what if any of the platforms packs up unexpectedly or has temporal hitches (we've seen on numerous occasions, temporary hitches with fiverr's algorithms and account bans).

You need to be on all platforms, although more focused on one than the others. Trust me, it'll pay off in the end. Look at it as making money on fiverr (with different profile of course) and building reputation on Upwork. It may be tough but don't give up grin

. What you need is to gradually build up your profile with good reviews.. And you won't need to spend your connects applying for jobs.

Despite taking a break, I still get invites daily and just recently, I got contracts from 2 separate US based Naija guys - one I'm about to seal will offer me a part time offline job here in Naija while the other (a mouth watering long term contract) explicitly told me he was giving me the contract because "you're my sister" cheesy

. So, don't abandon upwork oo. My 2 cents lipsrsealed

But now that I've finished my connects for this month, it's to be looking upandan nau. cheesy

. I actually wasted the connects this months, imagine, I finished it in 2 days... I was seeing works I can do, yet clients won't give me, despite the fact that I was the first applicant. In my mind I was like "just give me this job, it's something I can do perfectly!!" angry

I'll streamline my skills on there too, maybe it's too jampacked.
I'm on the 3 websites Upwork, Fiverr and Freelancer.
