Ur question is not very clear but if u mean changing to another feed brand, then there is no problem at all with that.
N. B. I use topfeed too, its okay. There is no 'best' feed out there.

Good day my name is chizoba .PLease i have read through this thread and found it very insightful. please i was wondering if any one can help me .I plan on going into fish farming in a couple of months and i want to start with a ton or two of fingerlings (catfish ,croacker,tilpia).I am trying to draw up a business plan to be able to estimate the financial requirements. I dont know where to start .I intend on renting a pond to start with .is that a good idea ? how much would it cost ? how much will it cost me to buy fingerlings ? how much will it cost to feed? what do i need to know about harvesting ? .please i am clueless .I live in Abuja. next time you write,you dont shout or showcase you have funds. It helps. My advice as usual,start reasonably, dont cut corners,if you need to pay for seminar or consultancy,do. Abuja is a good market. Visit fish market around gwarinpa/life camp,it could inspire you,but be patience.

One thing is fishes don't grow equally. You have done well in sorting them out.

Please how did you treat your pond before stocking? Did you fertilise it with chicken manure before stocking too?

Yes I did with chicken manure for 3days and washed with water and foam only, then soak for 48hra before refilling with water and stocking

starve the fishes for at least 24hrs, then introduce the feed to them in bits, u will know when they are satisfied becos their initial rushing for the feed will reduce after a while

Please my dear people make una help me. I moved my fishes from the small tank to a bigger tarpouline pond and they became weak, do not eat well and their whiskers started chopping off and white in colour. pls what do i do? Help me urgently please my gurus.
