I understand but it is good to discuss these things so that people get to know what they are doing to the environment.
In this case they are altering the balance of nature and what they will experience shortly is an explosion in the rat population. Eagles for instance hunt only during the day and they control the population of marsupials that operate during the day. At night a different class of predators operate and I guess that is why they have been singled out and tagged 'evil' because they are only found at night but that is the way nature works.

And this is another reason why vermins are more common in urban areas though they have a better habitat and access to food in rural areas, the fact that the predators are having it worse off in urban areas. Go to the real, interior villages. They store foodstuff in the open and unlocked sheds yet are not devoured by rats because the rats are very few. They watch their backs for owls and others.

They should realise that when you see an animal like that it must mean its food is nearby and the next question you should ask is, what is it hunting....

However, ur cousin who is studying law can get the space only when the space has been given to a medical student who doesn't really want to stay there or want to make a fortune out of it. your cousin can then, meet him/her and pay a substantial amount of about 60k as against the normal 25k for clearance fee. meaning the first applicant gets a gain of about 30k. The first applicant then rights a letter of space transfer to the dean of students which will then be approved and then forwarded to the PEO. Then your cousin gets the space legally.

At about 9:30pm the owl flew into the boys reading room of the NDDC hostel and met it's doom as boys of the NDDC hostel wasted no time in killing it in suspicion that it might be possessed of some spirit. See pics below.
