when Lil Wayne was at his peak, some people had the nerve to say he is better than 2pac..foreign collabos dont mean you are better than everybody, what is this slave mentality Nigerians have about foreign collabo sef. Wizkid is very good and is on his way to where 2face has been for years.

If i hear nfeni nbaga today or for instance i will still jump and shout come imagine wetin i go do if i hear african queen. I am yet to hear the 2face song that doesnt withstand the test of time...but its only Ojuelegba and AYO that is the wizkid songs likely to achieve that feat.

ASA's songs have been used as soundtrack in several American films and tv series but you dont hear people shouting that she is the best artiste out of naija.

But wizkid seems to be gaining favour in the foreign music world. Nigerian have good reason to believe that this success came from his well-deserved hit single 'Ojuelegba' which attracted foreign attention from Drake and Skepta. Chris Brown also called for a collabo titled 'African Girl'. He didn't end it there but also called wizkid up for a world tour with him. Drake also featured wizkid on his Bill-board chart breaking hit 'One Dance' which made wizkid the first Nigerian artist to appear in the billboard chart. After this, Songs released by wizkid have been showing up on foreign music websites which means that he is now seen as an American musician because of the many music collabos with the English musicians.



Just yesterday, He released another single with a Nigerian Born English Rapper 'Tinnie Tempah' whose real name is 'Patrick Chukwuemeka Okugwu'. After this single Tinnie Tempah took to his twitter page to announce that Wizkid would be his special guest of several shows.
