Just a couple of hours ago, I was listening to this "One Dance" song and told a friend Drake sounded kinda Wizkid-ish in his delivery, and the entire song had a Nigerian vibe to it.

It is easy to believe Seyi Shay but it is also possible Drake brought Wizkid on the track to influence it with the Nigerian flavor. Probably trying to switch his style up because diversity is key in the music industry. Either way, Wizkid must have had a lot of input for the sound to come out that way.

Wizkid co-produced the song. So his influence on the song should be 70%

She is right. The original title of that song when it got on net was 'one dance- drake ft wizkid'. But in d audio and video there was no evidence of wizkid. I think something secretly went on there.

Both of them are idiots. one dance belongs to the Kyla, the girl that sang the chorus in the song. Kyla is a garage musician(UK).
And since when did wizkid have an excellent command of english like a native to write lyrics for drake.lol

Drake drifted a bit to Afrobeats and Reggae or tropical music in this his latest "View" album. Even the song with Rihanna "Too Good" sounds Afrobeat or Nigerian.

Seyi Shay is utterly dumb. She should know better since she's from the UK.

The original tune Drake used for "One Dance" is actually Kyla's "Do You Mind" garage tune that was a club banger in the UK in 2009. Wizkid must've stolen the tune and wrote different lyrics to it, hence Drake got Kyla on it.

"One Dance" is more or a less a remix Kyla's "Do You Mind"...and it sounds more like UK garage than afrobeats.
